Great Preparatory Herb,
By MotherHarvey (SLC, UT) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dr. Christophers Formulas Pre-Natal (Health and Beauty)
This is to be taken ONLY for the last 6 weeks of pregnancy and perhaps for 2-3 weeks following delivery. It prepares your body for delivery, helping things to go more smoothly. I used it with my last baby and it was much less painful and more manageable than my first delivery. I highly recommend it!

Amy I do not believe this would of sent you into preterm labor.Your body was just getting ready to have a baby and most likely would of done the same thing without these herbs.
I have taken this for my last 3 births and I have had preterm babies before them. This did not send me into preterm labor.It did help my labors go pretty fast and 3 of my children were born within 30 minutes. I am sorry you felt these put you in preterm labor. I will be taking these again as soon as I hit 34 weeks.

Might have sent me into premature labor,

I started this prep at exactly 34 weeks 1x/day as directed. I noticed a marked increase in the amount of Braxton Hicks I was having but figured it was part of how the herbs work to prep you for labor. At 34w6d, I was admitted to L&D for contractions with only 2-3 minutes between, and I was 50% effaced and dilated to 3cm. Now I am on bed rest and medical interventions to stop labor.Who knows if it would have happened either way, but I am sure taking this didn't help the situation. In hindsight, I'd ask for an internal exam before starting this prep and I would probably wait until 36 weeks. This is my first baby so all learning experiences for the next time. 2115|R31FS9MEHTB7YE;2115|RP100C9DA2R4R;2115|R27S3L6ZYPLPOA;
