I put in a support email with Amazon to help bring awareness to this issue, hopefully there will be a resolution soon, I'd really love to start playing but I dont know if you need to start a new game to use the bonus items or not.
I used the chat option to speak with an Amazon rep. I'm supposed to get a new code within 24-48 hours. All they ask is for confirmation of your code and what the error message says. Seems like a pretty easy fix.
Same problem. Received my copy of the game today and the code and PSN is stating that the code is invalid. I used the chat feature and they're going to forward my complaint to the Marketing and Promotions department and that they would email me within two business days.
Mine didn't work either. Just sent them an email asking if they knew why. Hopefully this gets sorted out soon, because, like Xander said, I'm not sure if you'll need to start a new game for the suit to show up, so I'll wait till the code works or we get working ones..
Amazon finally replied to me, and pretty much confirms its apparently on sony's end.
"Our Marketing and promotion team has updated us that they are working with Sony to fix this issue as soon as possible. It usually takes 2-3 business days for this sort of research, but in this case it's taking a little longer. I'm very sorry about this delay."
Ugh.. they haven't replied to me just yet, but I really hope they fix this before I get my 3 days off this week. Was really wanting to play this, but I'd hate getting half way through the game to find out I then have to restart the whole thing just to use my preorder bonus. :/
I'm in the same situation as the rest of you. My code did not work. I contacted Amazon by phone and they were redirecting my concern to their Promotions department, and then told me that they would get back to me in a few days. In the meantime, I'm stuck waiting and my pot is getting cold.
