5.0 out of 5 stars Worked for me!
I am 39 years old and was concerned about my count. I am aware that this test only tests for count and not for motility, but this test put my mind at ease at least about one thing. The test was easy to use and read, and two months after taking the test my wife is pregnant!

3.0 out of 5 stars Yes, it might tell you about count....
But the motility and morphology are just as important in determining male fertility. You're better off gettng a sperm analysis at your Drs office.

If you have a normal count and they are slow and/or misshapen and/or your semen is too thick.... you may have a problem. This test doesn't tell you any of that.

If you are looking for count, i guess this works. However, you are better off doing the exact same thing, but for a DR. So you can get full reads (movement, etc).

For instance, this said i have high count, but it took us a while to conceive. I am guessing motility was a factor (we used preseed lube, got preg next try).

My husband did this test right around the time we quit smoking. He's also been taking FertilAid, and I think it's been about three months now. He's getting a medical sperm analysis done at the beginning of next month. I hope things turn out all right, but your test showed his count was low. I'm just glad it gave me some answers as to why I wasn't getting pregnant! Kudos for that!

4.0 out of 5 stars Useful Screening Tool, September 8, 2008
This review is from: PreConceive: A Male Fertility Sperm Test (Health and Beauty)
This product was helpful when used as a screening tool, just to be sure things are working ok and to send you in the right direction if they are not.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works, I guess., March 7, 2008

The test works. The free pregnancy tests that came with it were a little confusing, because I didn't know I was getting them, and they were strip tests, but once I figured it out, it was OK.

The tests worked well. I now know how to proceed (with a trip to the urologist). I am glad I spend the money on these tests.

1.0 out of 5 stars Three Weeks of Unnecessary Anxiety, March 21, 2009
This review is from: PreConceive: A Male Fertility Sperm Test (Health and Beauty)
My husband and I used this fertility test because my husband suffered testicle torsion as an adolescent, and we were concerned about its effect on his sperm count. We were sad, anxious, and concerned when it showed a negative result twice. Consequently, we spent nearly 300 dollars on a lab test and are still waiting for the results; however, I just found out this morning that I am pregnant after our first try. This leads me to believe that his sperm count is fine and that we just endured three weeks of stress and heartache at the idea that we might not be able to conceive. Also, my husband and I both spoke with two doctors (an ob-gyn and a general practitioner) and both had never heard of the product and doubted its efficacy. I would not recommend this product.

Using this product was a snap - the only problem I had was determining if the blue was darker or the same. Also, it's a little less than 88% accurate, so it is a good tool to validate lab results.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great! it Works Exactly as they said it would, November 12, 2009
This review is from: PreConceive: A Male Fertility Sperm Test (Health and Beauty)
I was about to pay a visit to the doctor's office, but decided to give a try to this test to see how did I look? Well, I turned out to be ok, my count looked good, so I decided not to go to the doctor and try for a couple of more months and for my surprise 20 days later, we discover that my wife was pregnant, so it saved me an expensive visit to the doctor.

This product is very easy to use. I know many people wondering if they could have baby. I think this product is excellent. You could test it in your own home. You got everything needed to perform the test. I just wish they could sell just the cassette in case of making a mistake.
