You take it before you have a drink (as many as five pills depending on how hard you intend to go). The next day you don't feel as if you have had as much to drink as you did. I wasn't queasy, no headache nor any of the other symptoms. You still have the cotton mouth and are tired, but so what? And this one you take before you start and then can forget about it. Other hangover pills ask you to take them every four hours and before you go to bed. If you alert enough to do that, then you probably won't have a hangover anyway.

Being in my 26th year of age, my hangovers have begun to get EXPONENTIALLY worse. When I was 18 I could drink all night and not even worry about hangovers. I'd wake up and drink a glass of water and be fine. Now I wake up with a splitting headache, body pains and just a complete sense of grogginess--regardless of how much I hydrate or if I take Excedrin/Tylenol/whatever the night before.

I had a big weekend of drinking 2 weeks down the line so I started researching hangover remedies. This one had pretty good reviews and I liked how you only needed to take 2 to 4 before drinking. I got it just in time for my huge weekend of partying.

First off when you open the bottle you get smacked by a scent that is indescribable. Its like a mix of hay/lemon/urea; kind of funky. But it doesn't really affect the taste at all so its not a big deal. I knew I had a LONG night of drinking ahead of me so i decided to take 2 at the beginning of the night and take 2 towards the end of the night instead of 4 at once. I drank a full glass of water with each pill session. It definitely made my urine smell kind of funky. Just smelled like I ate 50 multi-vitamins.

So what happened in the morning? No headache!!! That in itself is worth the cost of the pills. It lessened my full body pains all I had was a little bit of grogginess. I still felt a little weird, but what do you expect after drinking half a rack and a bunch of shots. I dint give it 5 stars because I still felt slightly groggy. But it completely alleviated my headache and body pains. If you suffer from these hangover symptoms, pick these up and give them a shot.

I was skeptical at first about another hangover cure. What caught my attention was that it is ALL natural and that I didn't need to keep taking pills with every drink I had. And this stuff actually worked! Instead of using chasers all night, I used Pretoxx and didn't get a headache and felt good the next day. I'll defintely keep this on hand.

Coming from an experienced drinker, I have tried several different hangover cures and they were all a pain. I mean come on! Having to drink a glass of water in between every two drinks isn't exactly a "convenient" cure to hangovers. My buddy recommended Pretoxx and I tried it because all you have to do is take a few pills before you start drinking. Its really easy and the next day I felt really good. My hangovers lately have been horrible but with Pretoxx it almost eliminates the headache, nauseaous and achy feeling. I definitely recommend it!

I bought this a couple weeks ago and this stuff really works! It doesn't completely eliminate hangovers, but it helps drastically. No headaches and no nausea at all. I did notice that I felt pretty tired the next day after using it - I'm not sure if that's due to the Pretoxx or the alcohol. The web site says that it doesn't help with dehydration so make sure you drink lots of water.

Less expensive than Chasers and does the same thing. I have used it twice with great results. Take 2 before your first drink and you don't have to worry about it again. I was surprised when I woke up the next morning without a headache, dry mouth and queasiness. After going out and having drinks, I usually have to spend the next day on the couch. Not anymore!

I've tried this on 3 occasions now and the results from my experiments are as follows:
- Light drinking: took 2 tablets before and drank 4 beers. Felt great in the morning, but that wasn't much of a test
- Moderate drinking (mixed booze): took 4 tablets and drank 4 beers, 2 bourbons, 2 gin. Didn't drink any water with the alcohol and had a mild tinge of a headache that I normally attribute to being completely dehydrated. What I would have expected without the pretoxx is body aches until at least midday, moderate headache and a general feeling of slowness and laziness. Didn't experience any of it (except for the headache), very happy not to have body ache.
- Heavy drinking (mixed booze): took 4 tablets and had 2 beers, 4 bourbons, 4 gin and some champagne. What I would have expected without the pretoxx is severe body aches all day, severe headache and what I call Post Inebriated Anxiety (feelings of regret and general awfulness), and pretty much not leaving bed. I didn't get any body aches at all and more importantly had no PIA!

Best thing for me is to not get the anxiety I get if I drink heavily, bottle paid for itself in that one session. I do think not drinking any water at all is a mistake, maybe just a glass or two throughout the night would avert any ill feelings at all.

I've used PreToxx a handfull of times with varied success. I found that with light to moderate drinking PreToxx helped and I woke up feeling fine. However when drinking heavily PreToxx didn't make a difference. So, YMMV but I think it's worth a shot.

It seems to help for me. I haven't tried it with any really heavy drinking yet, but I would say that using it I was better off the next day than if I didn't take it.

I used to wake up with a huge headache the next morning even after just one glass of wine. With this product it seems to have disappeared. I tried to use the product before and after a drink. In my opinion it seems to work better before alcohol consumption.
