I cannot praise Dr Elsey's catt litter enough. Our kitty was 8 weeks when we first got him, and he was having accidents all over the house. I started a research on sites and forums on solutions and this product was constantly brought up. I ran to my local Petsmart(who carries the entire Dr Elsey's line), got the kitten attract and a bottle of litter attractant just in case(it is a mix of the herbs already mixed with the litter, but I got extra just in case).
As soon as I poured the new litter, he jumped in and did his business. I was in awe!!!!! Ever since no more accidents.
On top of that, it tracks very little and not dusty at all. The granules are extra small,perferct for kitten's lil paws and it has the "herbs" in it that attract the kitty. Inside each bag there is a booklet with tips and coupons.
Litter box issues are one of the main reasons cats end up for adoptions. The fact that this litter worked so well or me and many other people gives me hope :)

Kitten Attract litter worked instantly for us. Our new 11 week old kitten has had no trouble finding and using the litter box. It clumps up nicely. I don't have a lot of problem with the clumps falling to pieces when I scoop. I scoop everyday. It always has a fresh, clean scent, except when the deed is recent. There's no dust and I don't have a lot of problem with tracking (I use Clevercat Top Entry Litter Box and LitterMaid LMC100 Litter Box Carpet). I am happy with the performance of this litter and will buy it again.

UPDATE: After adding a second bag of Kitten Attract, I find there is lots of dust. It's supposed to be 99% dust free. I think it wasn't a problem at first because the dust settled on the bottom of the first bag and I didn't get the full effect until I finally emptied that bag into the litter box.

Of course, I only find dust a problem when I scoop. It's not visible, but I can smell and feel it in my lungs. The kitten really doesn't stir up the dust because she only pushes it around gently with her front paw. I, on the other hand, went out and bought a dust mask.

UPDATE: I received a free bag of cat litter with the purchase of some cat food. I added some of the new cat litter to the litter box and mixed it with Kitten Attract. BIG MISTAKE. My cat did not like it at all. She climbed in, sniffed around and jumped back out. I could tell she did not like it. She wouldn't even dig in it. I dumped out the mess and put a fresh batch of Kitten Attract in and she immediately did her business. There's something about Kitten Attract that she loves.

My kittens are now 5 weeks old and start marking their spots in my apt everywhere. I have tried other litter, but they seem to have no interest in using them. So I got Kitten Attract, and it worked right away. The kittens like the smell and use it.

My cat must be the exception to the rule. I have a 6 month old kitten that will urinate in the litter box but for some reason will not defacate there. I tried this litter which is expensive and she smelled and rolled in it and pooped once then went back to pooping outside of it. The other cats just want to play in it they did not use it either. They used the other box we have full of corn based litter.

this stuff is like magic.. we were having issues with one of our 6 week old kitten not wanting to use the box so we had to confine her to the kitchen, and it still didn't work.. So after reading the reviews here I had to try this litter out. Well as soon as the pan was filled with this litter the mishaps stopped immediately. it's been a week now and no accidents at all. Finally we can let them roam the house more without worry. Thanks for this amazing product!!!!!!!!!

i used this in a pet-friendly hotel to be sure my kittens went to the litter box AND as an alternative to Feline Pine, which makes a huge mess! my kittens love this stuff and are obsessed with it. they play in it, they watch me like hawks as i scoop the clumps out, they patiently take turns going in the litterbox they share during our vacations - one is in there playing while the other sits there watching and observing. i have no idea why this stuff makes them act the way they do, i'm just happy i don't have to inhale overly-fragrant puffs of toxic litter when i pour it in the box.

I am using this cat litter for my adult cat that I inherited from someone who could no longer care for her. My cat would only use the litter box to urinate and would defecate on the floor instead of the box. The previous owner was aware of this problem and would put paper down on the floor for the cat to use. I tried everything I could think of and find on the Internet to get the cat to use the litter box. As soon as I tried this litter, I had no more problems with the cat using the litter box. This litter has a very soft, sand-like texture that de-clawed cats may prefer.

I raised my 2 kittens on this litter and never had a problem with it. It works great in the Litter Robot, too.

I was having trouble with one of the kittens that we brought home urinating on the beds. I found this litter and he loves it so much that he will sleep in the litter box (clean of course) just so he can be near it. Talk about attracting kittens! It doesn't smell like other clay litter either. I have allergies to dust and this stuff doesn't seem to bother me as much as the overly chemical clay litter does. Oh, and he uses it instead of the beds although I did have to make sure that there were lots of boxes to choose from.

Both my 6 year old cats like this one. Especially Tyler, being a lightweight skinny cat which more approximates the size/weight of a kitten. I notice he seems to enjoy this sand weight and texture better than the Dr. Elsey's Cat Attract. Both these litters are 5 star to me. I think the kitten litter is slightly more messy for scooping as the kitten litter particles are finer. I will be buying both litters again.
