Jerry has one of the all-time great male voices. This CD is a real treat for the listener who loves male vocals deep, rich and coated with honey. But the fact is that there are too few of his many great songs on this CD - and most of them are already available on other CD releases. I would like to see a Jerry CD with all of the great songs from "The Iceman Cometh" (his best album, ever) on it. Add his other 'greatest hits' to that base and then you would really have something.

Jerry Butler has always been and always will be an epitome icon of the music business worldwide. The last i saw of him was on public tv during a doo wop reunion of stars frm the 50's and 60's. He still looked as if he hardly aged and his voice ws still the same of years gone past. I've been a Jerry Butler fan since i first heard "Western Union Man", "Lost", "Make It Easy On Yourself" and "Only The Strong Survive". This cd is one that i would recommend to hv in in your "JB" colltn, b'cuz it also introduces his early vocal styles which became his richer signature sound in his later years. So all you "JB" listeners and fans out there, get this cd, you'll never regret it......I HAVEN'T !!!!
