If you collect Precious Moments items, this music box, at $10.99 with super saver shipping, is well worth having; I personally would not pay any more than the current price for it. You could give it to a small granddaughter, but bear in mind that it is playing a Christmas carol, It Came Upon a Midnight Clear. The tune is clear, well toned, and covers the first two lines of the song. The detail and workmanship (made in China) is much nicer than the picture indicates. The rotation occurs at the base of the figure, that is, the swivel starts right below the foot; the base itself does not rotate. The two cons for me are that it is a little smaller than I thought it would be, being just a little under 5 and 1/2 inches tall overall. Also, the music plays until it winds down versus having a switch to shut it off.

I gave this to my mother as a Christmas gift. She loved it. The music is clear, and it is just really pretty. I am very happy with this purchase.

This is even prettier than I expected. I like the color scheme. I bought this as a gift for my daughter, and I'm going to buy some more for some teenagers in our church. It's an affordable price, and makes a lovely gift. Great idea for Christmas giving.
