The Precision Design USB 2.0 xD-Picture Card™ Reader included with this auction eliminates the inconvenience of connecting the camera to the computer for every download. Now you can transfer files easily from digital cameras, hand held PCs and other xD-Picture Card™ devices for editing and storing on your computer.

Rapid data transfer. Move files up to 40 times faster than a standard USB 1.1 card reader.

I purchased this device to leave at work so I can upload photos from my personal camera when needed. It's a great little device and for the price, you could keep one at home, in your office or in your camera case!

Ok, so the reader I received is NOT what is shown in the pictures on this page, the one I was sent is a multicard reader, not just for XD. Other than this, the reader works ok. Though I already have a multicard reader and only wanted an XD one just for my Olympus camera.

Very convenient alternative for connecting your camera with serial cable.
As not all laptops have slot accepting xD cards this is really good and cheap solution.
