I used this book when I herniated an L4 disc. The exercises are written well. They were easy to understand. Photos demonstrated how they should look. They were SAFE exercises. I experienced improvement within 1-2 months. I liked that it is spiral bound. this made it easy to keep the book open to my page when lying on the floor. The only criticism that I have is that some of the exercises were hard for me to do. Then I'd find out that if this was the case, there was an easier one to do on the next page. It would have been better if the easier one was place before the more advanced one. Overall, I highly recomend this book.

I love this book and use it on a very regular basis to help my own clients in a busy orthopedic practice. Brian's recommendations are based on sound principles of posture and strengthening muscles that are prone to weakness and inhibition. He illustrates the use of his exercise concepts with case studies. Well worth the tiny investment.
