5.0 out of 5 stars A great bargain
I bought this scale to replace a very expensive Pact scale that I used for reloading ammunition. It started to give me inconsistent results. This $9.95 scale was right on the money when I checked it with 4 different certified weights.

1.0 out of 5 stars Digital Scale
I purchased this scale to weigh bullets for reloading. The scale never settles down, weights close to 20% above real weight and will not weigh the same twice on the same item. I would not recommend this item to anyone, would highly suggest going to a beam scale. They are very acurate and easy to use.

Cannot beat this scale for the price-Comparable scales marked at around $15-20.00 more!! Works great/great functions-For the reloading enthusiast;use some known component for scale accuracy-Mine is right on!!

Will NOT read tenths of a grain of powder. Totally useless. Save your money and buy something better. You'll thank me.

I use this as a gunpowder scale; the title may be misinterpreted by some like me as accurate to within 0.1 GRAIN but it is not it is accurate to within 0.1 GRAM.
so if you use this for gunpowder, down-load by 1.5 grains according to this scale from max charge and that's your new max until you can afford a $200 scale :P
Even tho I misinterpreted the title I still like it and am using to load 10mm. (on a recommended charge of 11 gn i put 10 gn to this scale just to be safe from explosions in my face at the range)

I have no issues with this scale. I bought it to weigh out wood arrow shafts and it works great! Just make sure your table is nice and flat so the darn shafts don't roll off of it. LOL!

5.0 out of 5 stars Super item, January 27, 2011

I needed a scale for my archery activities. This scale fits the requirements. There are a couple things about the scale which could use improvements: larger type fonts. For someone with poor eyesight, the ones on the scale are really tiny. Also, a brighter light rather than the weak blue haze would improve visibility. Once you get used to it, it gives you everything you need. As to the seller, they deserve the best possible credit. They originally sent the wrong model, and a brief e-mail, they replaced it immediately, not even asking for the wrong one back. What else can one ask for?

I use it for reloading and love it. I have compared it to my friends' scales and it is right on with theirs.
