This has both pros and cons.

The pros, is that I received it and it had all the advertised items and also the drivers (yes I got the T3 that I really wanted) seem to be of a nice design, easy to hold and manipulate.

So why a Yang?

I can not ding them for this but it would have been very nice if this set came in any type of protective plastic box or holders. I received it in just a small, very tightly arranged white cardboard box. So there is no storage other than the cardboard box the set comes in. But that doesn't bother me as much as this is supposed to be a precision set (IE the T3 Torx bit is almost microscopic and fragile on the tip) but the box is SOOO tight that most all of the tips of the drivers arrived either punched through the cardboard or dented the box.

I have not tried to see if the tiny tips have been damaged by the way too small box. A simple millimeter more in box length and a thing piece of foam would have at least protected the fragile bits.

So I had to ding them for my total surprise that while do you get everything 'advertised' you get it in packaging that is insufficient to protect the contents or to store them in.

Although the set contained a portion of the items listed. I was shipped the wrong set. It did not contain the Torx range that I ordered and needed. I have it parked. It may never see any use. Time will tell.

My Garmin Nuvi 680 was growing old. So, thanks to the internet I updated all the US Maps, then added supplemental European Maps on a 4gb SDHC Card. The only thing left was the worthless original battery that was lasting only a few minutes.

I found a great video on youtube that showed step by step instructions on replacing the Nuvi Battery. In fact it showd the same color "green" tool in this kit and used the T4x45 to unscrew 4 of the screws on the device and circut board.

So, now instead of having to spend hundreds on a new GPS, I still have my reliable and trusty Nuvi, which has all of North America and Europe in a single device that I can also walk around with again.

Very happy camper, and I rarely give a perfect 5, but for the price this proved to be invaluable on such a rare size, plus I have two nice tweezers in the kit, I can care less for under $10 bucks what case it came in, I need the tools.

I do a lot of small electronics disassembly and find small tools kits like this to be invaluable.

The Specs said that the tips where Durable and Strong.. well they are not, but they still work good and are very usefull

I was kind of disappointed to see the packaging. It literally came in a white cardboard box.
But it did the job well, I was taking my blackberry tour apart. All the screwdrivers etc worked well. =)

I usually have low expectations when it comes to low priced sets like this. However, this set exceeded my expectations.

It is those key Torx sizes to open electronics.

The construction is solid and the handle design gives you that extra gripping power to actually turn fasteners.

Also I have yet to strip any of the ends.

Overall, the set gets 5 stars because it contained (more than) the parts advertised, and it worked for the intended purpose - the #5 torq driver opened the battery compartment on a Philips Pronto 9400 remote control. Quality? The 13 pieces cost $10. At that price, the quality is *at least* as expected.

Note that the set I received on 1/6/12 had 13 pieces:
- 7 Torq drivers and 2 tweezers as shown.
- 1 plastic prying tool, double-ended, green.
- 1 flat + 1 philps head "jeweler's" screwdrivers, black plastic-like.
- 1 unidentifed piece, a screwdriver-like piece I would describe as a "jeweler's size" awl.

The set came in a re-sealable plastic bag, inside a small bubble-mailer, inside an Amazon box. The bag+mailer are adequate as a storage pouch.

The Tool is very useful, however the material is regular, I need for repair a HTC DASH 3g and is good, the price is good.

I use it to change a battery in my Garmin Nuvi 360. I am happy. The transaction and mailing was fast. I would prefer if screw drivers came in a special box rather than in plastic bag. But it works anyway.
