It's obvious that the cleaner the lens, the sharper your pictures will be. Dirt, dust, and fingerprints will degrade the image quality of even the finest optics. However, it's important to avoid using incorrect cleaning materials which can permanently damage your photo equipment. Used properly, the cleaning supplies in this kit are certified safe for use on your valuable digital and film photo-equipment and optics. The environmentally-friendly Hurricane Air Blower is a real dust-blaster. It's nothing like those tiny blower brushes which are capable of producing only a gentle breath of air. When you squeeze this deluxe Air Blower you get a focused gust of air that really pushes the dust off. Using the blower should always be the first step in cleaning your photo equipment. Use it to remove dust and dirt from the surface of your lenses before you attempt to clean them with lens tissue. Otherwise you may find that you are grinding grit onto the delicate lens surface and may scratch it. The blower may also be used — carefully following your camera manufacturer's instructions and exercising due caution — to clean the camera's image sensor. There isn't much to say about a lens cleaning kit, but this is a nice basic kit that covers most features you will need for a fairly cheap price. I'll cover each item, but suffice to say I think this is a great deal for the price I paid for it ($7 at the time).

Microfiber cleaning cloth - I love these little cloths, and I have like a dozen of them now. Almost every cleaning kit comes with them, and often even when you buy eyeglasses you can get one for free as well. They are great for quickly removing dust, rain, snow, fog, dirt, etc from your lens. A lot of people will make a mistake and use any cotton cloth to wipe their lens clean, but those often can leave little scratches on the lens, these are much safer and just as easy to clean. I throw mine in the washer machine after a few weeks of use, and they come out almost like new. I use the cleaning cloth the most from this kit - and I always have one or two in my camera bag at all times when shooting.

Brush - good brush for getting sand/dirt out of the crevices on the camera body. I tend not to use it for much more than that. I am always amazed how much sand sticks to the camera body after a day at the beach, so I am always sure to bring the brush with me if I go to the beach.

Air blower - kind of generic (like the whole kit), but does a decent job of blowing away sand or dirt that might be in a hard to reach place. There isn't much power to it, so sometimes it won't blow away stubborn pieces of sand/dirt, but I rarely ever get any inside of the lens/body that can't be reached by the brush. This is probably the tool I use the least in the kit.

Lens cleaning solution - I can't tell any difference between the ones for photography lenses and the ones for eyeglasses, I assume they are the same. This is great for getting rid of oil and smudges off the lens, and making it shine like new. I try to use this periodically or before a big photo shoot for a client.

Tissues - these work fine with the lens cleaning solution. My main gripe about these is that there isn't much of them. I seem to go through the sheets much quicker than I go through the amount of cleaning solution. Also they tend to fall apart easily or leave behind small white specks of the tissue on the lens, so I tend to use a second (dry) tissue to wipe off any debris.

Cotton swabs - I am not really sure why these were included, I guess to inform people that are new to photography how versatile cotton swabs are? They are useful, however they seem to reproduce the same functionality as other tools in the kit (mainly the brush and the cleaning cloth), and there are only like 6-8 included. You can buy 500 Q-tips for $1 at dollar stores. They are good at removing dust and dirt, particularly around the body areas such as the controls. I think it was someting extra they could throw in to call it a deluxe cleaning kit with "7" cleaning tools.

If you don't have a cleaning kit for your lenses, then you should definitely buy this. It will work for most situations, it is fairly cheap, and a good place to start. Then later you can judge if you need the more expensive cleaning tools like lens cleaning pens, rocket air blasters, and much more.

I once I opened it, it smelled funky, only did I come to the realization that the white bottle was broken of some sort and all the liquid spilled onto the other items.
Very bad. Never buying again.
