Young birds have sensitive respiratory systems so my birds are not going in this thing.

I put together the nesting box and the screws supplied split some of the wood.

Quite pricey for a cheaply made product. The box got a bit wet during shipping and the portion of the hutch that was next to the damp box was damaged because the wood was cheap particle board type stuff. Don't think this will hold up in real wet conditions like wind driven rain and only the roof is really water resistent. The rest of the construction matched the cheap particle board as well, lightweight, thin stuff. I put together the nesting box and the screws supplied split some of the wood. I'm not sure if I would trust this to keep out a determined raccoon or lynx who smelled chicken dinner on the otherside of this flimsy excuse for a chicken coop. I gave it two stars instead of one because the design was nice. Too bad it won't hold up.

First...way too small for even 1 full-size chicken. I have four 2 month old birds and they would have been squeezed! I should have paid better attention to the dimensions...my fault. I also didn't see in the ad anywhere that it was made in China. I would have not minded so much if it hadn't smelled so chemically (stain and roofing). It was quite oppressive when I stuck my head in the house. Young birds have sensitive respiratory systems so my birds are not going in this thing. Nest box with roost is not useful so had to modify and add a roost. I purchased just to house the 4 birds for a short period of time until they were integrated with my other birds but no way. Money would be better spent put towards a better product made with materials in which you know what they contain. Good luck!

First of all, like many things, it is smaller than I thought once I put it together. I bought this for 4 chickens but it would probably be best for two. It was very easy to put together and the packaging kept it safe. I would say it is a convenient start to a coop as I have made several alterations to make the design better. I will also build a bit bigger run for it, but it was convenient to start with this as a base.

The biggest flaw for me is the top inside area is dark and enclosed with no air circulation. I will work on that first.

But all in all, I am glad I purchased it for the price.

I have 30 birds in my yard. This is the best coop I have tried yet.

It goes together easily and quickly. The grips on the panels between the house and the coop are an insert-slide-down-to-lock combination. This secures the attachment of the coop to the house with just the 2 hands I was issued at birth and no screws.

The roof attaches by aligning dowels with pre-drilled holes and screwing down. I chose the screw in only the short section. I left the long section unscrewed in case I need to get into the lower section. I feel it is too heavy for the local cats to lift even if they work together.

Finally, it cost less than many similar products.

Our coop came nearly next day! It is durable and the hens love it! We have 6 and they are snug in it, but it works great! It was less cost than building our own. This was the deciding factor. Assembly was a breeze and it really looks cute! I would recommend this coop and the seller. We are very happy with the purchase and so are... Lil' Sunshine, Flo-Rida, Jr., Maudie, Merlea and Sneaky. (you gotta love kids!)

We put this coop together in about 40 minutes. All we need was a screwdriver.

I will say that two of us did get an injury but it wasn't do to the product, it was due to the fact that we are not use to building things!

Directions are not very clear but if you study them this coop is a breeze to assemble. It is well built for the price, only thing we would recommend is a drill. Lots of screws!

GREAT COOP! FAST SHIPPING!

I was disappointed when it arrived and the roof assembly was damaged. I contacted Precision and explained I needed a replacement part. Much to my surprise, the sent an entire new complete coop. WOW! Excellent!

I am using this as a rabbit hutch, but it is soooo cute! Looks very nice in the backyard. It does take a little intuitive thinking to put it together, but the instructions are not too hard to follow. It took about 2-3 hours to assemble and about all you need is a philips head screw driver. The wood (rubber wood?) is a little cheap feeling, it wouldn't stand up to a ton of abuse, but I'm sure it will be okay for a couple of bunnies or chickens. I did have to tighten up a couple of the screws in the pre-assembled pieces to make it more stable. I think it is a little overpriced for what it is, but for those of us who aren't up to, or don't have the time or expertise to build our own, this is a solid option.
