I originally ordered a few of these to donate to a local shelter, but when my cats saw them, they fell in love, so I had to order a couple more for them. They are great for the pets that sleep on your bed and usually leave behind a bunch of fur. Also, one of them had an upset stomach, and all I had to do was toss it into the washing machine, let it dry for a while, and it was good as new. I am sure that once the pets at the shelter receive these, they will enjoy them as well. My only complaint about them, would be the size. They seem to be much larger online than they are in person.....but, I also did not get out a ruler.

I purchased this "pet sleeper" to accomodate a young goldendoodle that I was petsitting. It was to be his designated "place" while in my home. While it served it's purpose, and the dog knew what it was for and layed on it comfortably, he maganged to chew a hole in it when left unsupervised for a short time when he returned home, a reason why this mat-type bed was chosen (he takes the stuffing out of everything, i.e the last dog bed, being a stuffed one). At times he preferred to lay on the hard tile floor...perhaps it was cooler. Otherwise it seems to be a durable mat for a non-chewer.
