5.0 out of 5 stars Good Bow, Good Price
I am on my second set of Beginner's Classes at my local archery club and have had a lot of fun with this bow. It really is a nice bow for the price. I bought mine at a local archery shop where they let me try it out. The bow has brass threaded holes to mount extras like a stabilizer and other things that I am just learning about. 3.0 out of 5 stars Buckeye Recurve
This is probably the best bow I have ever used. The aiming device combined with the lightness of this bow makes it ideal for begginers and intermediates. Though the price may seem deceiving this is a great deal!

The arrow rest is plastic, but it seems fine after a bit of use. The bow grip is smooth and wide. It feels pleasant to hold.

Because the Buckeye is a take-down recurve, it collapses down very nicely for storage. I have the 30 lb draw and I like it a lot. Some of the compound bow shooters like to watch me string my bow because if you haven't seen someone do it, it looks a bit odd.

If you're a beginner like me, I recommend getting a long arm guard (the kind that covers your arm past your elbow, a thick tab or a glove, a padded case, a quiver, and a stringer. A sight is nice, too. Don't forget arrows. The salesman at the archery store measured my draw length so that he could custom cut the arrows to fit me.

Always make sure you use a stringer to string the bow to avoid permanently twisting the arms. If you don't know how, make sure someone shows you because it is a bit confusing at first. The arms look like they are on backwards before you get the string on the bow. You also have to remember which end of the string goes where so that the nocking point locator is in the right place.

I hope you have fun with archery.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Bow, wrong parts., August 5, 2004

This Bow Is a Very Good Bow For Target shooting. I would strongly recomend it for Target shooting and not for Hunting. But! When I received The Bow The Limbs Were backwards! Everything else was great exept for the limbs of this Bow. The reason I give This Bow a 4 star is because Its a great Bow when you get the right peices. I still suggest this bow.

1.0 out of 5 stars Chinese Quality Control, September 26, 2011
This review is from: Razorback Recurve Bow (EA) (Misc.)
The wood riser had a sliver of wood missing under the limb pocket, but the pocket was screwed on anyways which made the connection crooked. The person building this bow had to have noticed, but screwed everything down anyways. Made in China.

1.0 out of 5 stars Never even had a chance....., May 13, 2010
This review is from: Razorback Recurve Bow (EA) (Misc.)
I ordered my bow on April 23 and anxiously awaited it's arrival. After 2 weeks I started to get ancy and contacted seller via e-mail. 3 e-mails later, no response and past the last day of the estimated delivery date (May 12) I contacted seller by phone. After waiting on hold for 18 minutes while seller contacted precision shooting equipment I was told that my bow was back ordered and would be ANOTHER month. I asked why in the world didn't they notify me OR respond to one of my three e-mails. The seller didn't have any answers nor particularly cared and I cancelled my order. I just ordered another bow from WTA - it will be here tomorrow. Now THAT's service. Sheesh.

I own a 30 pound pull version and I love it, like it's cooler than me. I got my self a Robin Hood Hat and some torn green clothes and I'm the coolest guy in my club. Thanks too this bow and my hand I'm winning 1st place over and over. Mr. Buckyey is accurate, strong and powerful, like I wanted it to be.

I like then my friends call me The Robin Hood who's more Robin Hoodish than any Robin Hood in the world.
