This book should be required reading for anyone who wants to be a parent. The premise is that your kids will inevitably grow up to have the traits you tell them they already have. Your words have a great effect on your children. They believe what you say. Whether you tell your child he is smart, shy, lazy, a trouble maker, good at problem solving or anything else, you greatly increase the chance that your prediction comes true. Highly recommend.

Predictive Parenting by Shad Helmstetter helped me to role model for my children how to be critical thinkers and effective decision makers. I gave Predictive Parenting by Shad Helmstetter to my now adult children and nieces who are or will be parents soon themselves.

I have given away many copies of this book to family and friends. It is a great tool! Shad Helmstetters work should be taught in schools!
