I bought this stuffed toy because one of my 16-month-old granddaughter's favorite words was "kitty," which she used for all of her stuffed toys. Although she does not have either asthma or allergies, I thought this because it looked cute and was just about the right size. It quickly became one of her favorite toys that had to go everywhere with her. Three months later, she is still enjoying it, and it seems to be holding up well to lots of cuddling.
