This review is from: Preggie Pop Drops (21 Pieces) - Assortment of Sour Flavors (Health and Beauty)
Several people wrote reviews wondering if Preggie Pops were really worth the money and if a hard candy like Jolly Ranchers might do the same trick. I decided to run an experiment. During the height of my morning sickness, I compared Preggie Pops to Jolly Ranchers, Gobstoppers, and Lemonheads. The only thing that eased my nausea were the Preggie Pops. The other candies were so sugary that they ended up making me feel even more nauseous than when I started. My findings: Preggie Pops are definitely worth the money (and I have 3 more boxes being shipped to my house as we speak).
The only downside to these pops is that if you suck on several in a row, the roof of your mouth becomes raw. My final thought about morning sickness is that you have to run some experiments to find what works for your body. My husband bought me acupressure bands (which many people rave about), and these did nothing for me but hurt my wrists. I also tried ginger flavored candy, which just made me sicker because I don't like the flavor of ginger to begin with. The only thing that I found to ease my sickness is Preggie Pops. But each person is different....keep trying different things until you find something that works for you!

I have not had awful nausea but when it hits these little drops help to nip it in the bud. I have been thankful to have them when the wave of nausea comes. I particularly like the drops over the pops because you can be more discreet about how you are feeling. Sucking on a lolli pop as an adult brings attention.

I love this product - after living on nothing but ginger ale and saltines for a week, I decided to try these and they actually worked. I tried some regular lemon drops while I was waiting for these to arrive in the mail, and they did help a little. But the Preggie Pop Drops are way better, at least for me. I can suck on them discreetly while in a meeting or pop one in when I'm running errands. I love the flavors (even the green apple, which I wasn't too sure about). The effects don't last too long, that would be my only complaint. But having the freedom to go to work and not carry a trash bag with me everywhere is worth it!
