The All-inclusive Pregnancy Journal,
By Latrice Ford (Mount Pleasant,SC) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Pregnancy Diary (Paperback)
This is an excellent book for expecting mothers. It has a space for your thoughts for each week of pregnancy. Fourty to fourty-five weeks is a long time to be carrying a child, and sometimes you wonder what's happening inside you from day to day. Well this journal tells you weekly the changes that your body and baby are undergoing. Iloved it because it left space for phtographs to be attached showing just how differently you look once you start growing. It asks thought provoking questions like "How did you tell your husband you were expecting"? and "Why did you suspect you were pregnant"? It also has a place for you to record your weight, blood sugar, fundal height, and etc. for each time you have a doctor's visit. There's also room for questions and names you might be considering. There's so much more that this book has to offer, but last but not least, it has space for you to write about the labor and delivery and once you've taken baby home. The only thing I don't like about the book is that it's in black and white.

A special journal to capture the magic of pregnancy,
This review is from: Pregnancy Diary (Paperback)
I really enjoyed keeping track of my pregnancy in this diary. It asked great questions about my thoughts, feelings, and dreams as my pregnancy progressed. It was nice to keep track of how big the baby was getting, what physical symptoms I was experiencing, and how I was preparing myself emotionally for our new family. A great follow-on companion to this book is "Cradle the Thought" by Tracy D. Nelson. It is a journal for the new mother to record her feelings and experiences during the first year after the baby is born. Both books are great ways for the new mother to capture the magic of pregnancy and new motherhood.

This book is wonderful if you are expecting!,

I loved this book. It gives information about the progress of your baby for each week of pregnancy. It also asks a lot of questions that really make you think. When my little one (now 4) is being a monster I like to look back and remember how excited I was for his arrival, and somehow he seems a little less naughty!
