4.0 out of 5 stars Sets Realistic Expectations, January 31, 2003
By
James Wick (Ann Arbor, MI USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Pregnancy (Paperback)
During my first pregnancy, I referred to this book daily. The approach was very straightforward, the tone was not alarming (like some other wildly popular titles), and much of the information was presented visually. The book traces the progress of one woman from conception to birth. A photograph of her body from the waist up begins each chapter, so you can see how her body changes from month to month. As a first time mom-to-be, I appreciated this realistic picture of pregnancy as it helped me to accept the changes my body was going through as "normal."
