5.0 out of 5 stars Get Cozy With This One
Grab a cup of cocoa, a blanket and snuggle on the sofa for a quiet afternoon that can take you away from your "to do" list and enjoy a bit of romance. Susan is a terrific writer and kept this reader flipping page after page. When I put the book down, I was satisfied and that doesn't always happen with the category romances.

2.0 out of 5 stars Poor writing
The story had tons of potential, but again, here comes the story of a girl who meets her boss, goes away with him for an account that he needs her help on... and she falls in love with him in 48 hours. We like romance novels, but we're not stupid. Honestly, the story could've been so good if it wasn't for the fact that the author kept bringing up how big of a mistake it...

The story had tons of potential, but again, here comes the story of a girl who meets her boss, goes away with him for an account that he needs her help on... and she falls in love with him in 48 hours. We like romance novels, but we're not stupid. Honestly, the story could've been so good if it wasn't for the fact that the author kept bringing up how big of a mistake it was that they slept together and she got pregnant, how he had offended her and broken her heart, how he had been a jerk to her. She goes over these things over and over and over and over again as a means to keep them apart for almost the entire book.
It got a bit interesting when he moved in and he warmed up to his baby and warmed up to her and told her his story. It made him a bit more relatable, but still... just OK. Would I recommend it? If you liked New Moon maybe. And I did not like it.

1.0 out of 5 stars The longest 192 pages I ever read, March 25, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
One person found this a 5 star raad. I did not. Poorly paced and full of angst, it didin't supply the backstory for the angst until the last few chapters, then it still tried to sustain the suspense of 'will they/won't they get together' until the last chapter. By then it was, 'Enough already! They should stay apart and stew!' The hero comes across as cruelly indeciseve. The heroine comes across as an idiot. I read this only because I'd paid for it. It was a waste of time and money.
