I've read other books by this author, and I don't remember ever reading a book where all the man says is 'because I know I am right'. Over and over throughout the book that is the theme. Ryan runs roughshod over Ashley again and again with the only reasoning being 'because I am right'. He completely ignores what Ashley says she wants 'because I know what is right'. This book was a chore to finish. I don't know how Ashley thinks she can be happy with an arogant control freak like Ryan. What a disapointing book.
