ISA HERRERA, C.S.C.S., is a multicertified medical exercise specialist based in New York City. She started her own company, Fitness Help®, in 1995 after she left her senior trainer position at the Reebok Sports Club in New York. Herrera has designed two unique exercise programs for clients during and after pregnancy: the Maternal Body Strength program and the Maternal SPA (Strength Training Plus Aerobics).

My wife and I started using this book last week. It's full of great information and lots of pictures. My wife was feeling really fat with all the baby weight adn she really wanted to work out a little bit. Not really to get buffed, but to just get her blood flowing and increase her heart rate. We told this to our doctor and she suggested this book. My favorite part of this book is all the workouts are geared to the "couple" and this makes it fun.

Herrera's workouts are a great way to stay in shape while pregnant, and a great way to share the experience of pregnancy with your partner in a new way. My husband and I found this book after I had been feeling tired and unhealthy because I was no longer able to continue my usual, non-pregnant workout. We started using Herrera's book guidelines for excercising together and things have been going so well! We're both feeling healthier and more energetic -- as well as having another way to spend time together during this very exciting period in our lives -- it's our first! This book is a must have for all expectant couples.

a fantastic book with tbe best guides for keeping the expecting couple in shape during the pregnancy. Isa writes in easy, clear to follow instructions and explanations. Will not only help with exercise but also lessen the stress.
