5.0 out of 5 stars Love those babies!, April 14, 2000
By
Best-selling author Anne Eames delivers another of her patented delightful romances with her latest literary offspring, "The Pregnant Virgin." Eames introduces her readers to a charming new couple in the form of prospective parents, the headstrong Ali Celeste and her handsome doctor-beau, Brad Darling.

Already a doting aunt, Ali knew she was ready to have a little one of her own, and in her work at Detroit's Midtown Hospital's Fertility Clinic she knew how easy it would be to accomplish her goal of becoming pregnant, even though there was no one special in her life. No one, that is, until Brad Darling enters the picture.

Brad Darling is struggling to get by during his tenure of medical residency and has no plans or time for love or a family. Financially strapped, he visits the sperm bank at the hospital where he works to become a donor. Little did he know he would meet the angel of his dreams in the celestial Ali Celeste. Sparks flew. But when, after only a few dates and one sensous encounter, the virginal Ali announces she is pregnant with his child, love definetly takes a u-turn for Dr. Darling. Will he come to his senses in time to make a life and future with Ali and their soon-to-be-born son?

This first book in Silhouette's new "The Baby Bank" series, Eames' charming story sets the tone for what promises to be a funfilled, love-enhanced series. Filled with romance and humor, Eames' "The Pregnant Virgin" is a wonderful read. Bring on the Babies!

4.0 out of 5 stars ACTUALLY A FOUR PLUS +, November 24, 2002

(REAL NAME)
There may be some stupids, stupids but not in this book.
Innocense, that some people don't recognize, seems to be the highlight of the characters.

Ali Celeste has a wonderful, loving family in her two sisters and a very good friend in, Michelle. [It seems that Michelle has her own story that involved the two matchmakers, Millie and Hazel]

There appeared to be instant attraction between Ale and Dr. Brad Darling when they first met at the sperm clinic.

It was fascinating to follow Brad and Ali through their emotional baggage and stumbling attempts to reconcile their doubts.

How could he be the father? When even she couldn't figure out her due dates. that brought a chuckle.

Loved the cover - seemed appropiate -- well worth reading.
Definitely recommended --M

5.0 out of 5 stars Adorable!!!, July 3, 2001

Loved this book!! Dr Brad Darling lived up to his surname from the first moment we met him. Great to see a "nice guy" hero rather than the usual brooding bad guy turned good at the end. A truly romantic fantasy story, with a real heartwarmer of an ending. Can't wait for Anne's next book, and am wading my way through her back catalogue. A title for true romantics (and big dreamers like me!)
