Versatile - should last whole pregnancy, July 17, 2011
I bought this when I was just under 4 months pregnant with twins. It was a bit more than I wanted to spend but I wanted something that would last for my whole pregnancy and look decent during all the stages. So far so good. There is plenty of room for me to keep growing in the belly and boobs but it doesn't look too big as-is, just like a looser style tankini. The side ties on the bottom will also allow for room to grow. The fabric is a much higher quality than the cheap suits at Old Navy I considered so hopefully it will stand up to frequent swimming. My only complaint is that the bottom is a little skimpier than I would prefer. I would like a higher "waistband", this sits low on the hips. I suppose this makes it's comfortable under the tummy rather than on the tummy but I don't love it, especially in the back. For now it's not a big deal since it's covered by the top but it might not be once I expand some more!
