Must have read for southwest archaeologists working on the Colorado Plateau,
By living free (Sierra Vista, Arizona USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Prehistoric Culture Change on the Colorado Plateau: Ten Thousand Years on Black Mesa (Hardcover)
The review of work on Black Mesa is pertinent for anyone working on or near the Colorado Plateau. Vast amounts of gray literature and university research came out of this study; not to mention many of PhDs that work and teach in archaeology today cut their teeth on Black Mesa at some point over the years. The research is relevant today, and if new to the Plateau, will provide the background and references cited you will need to be current on the literature.
