Do NOT buy this book,
This review is from: Prelude to Intimacy (Paperback)
This book, written by a murderer, will go to support him and his deluded supporters. Holly Maddux, the victim, is the one who needed justice, not this scum.

Einhorn did not receive a fair trial,
This review is from: Prelude to Intimacy (Paperback)
I edited this book so cannot claim impartiality, but I know enough about the case to insist that Ira Einhorn did not receive a fair trial. Potentially exculpatory evidence was "lost" by the D.A. Ira's attorneys dropped the ball time after time, including not requesting a change in venue. The presiding judge mocked Ira in front of the jury and allowed the prosecution to ridicule Ira and the case. But this book is mostly about Ira's reflections on culture in the U.S. and Europe and the problems we face. Ira was one of the major figures in the 1960s, and the breadth of his understanding is phenomenal.
