Firstly, we have found Premier brand's new Citronella battery-operated Anti-Bark Collars with on/off switch for Dogs to be quite efficient a majority of the time, in that Dogs seem to bark more selectively. So, we still have a watch pooch but not a yapping pooch! And, the Citronella Spray Refills are easy to use in refilling the spraying mechanism container on the collar. Do check battery often. Do check collar often to maintain appropriate tightness/looseness so collar does not fall off. Do refill collar at least daily or more often to maintain consistent spraying of Dog when barking to reinforce selective barking habits. Amazon.com carries Premier's Anti-Bark Collar, Citronella Spray refills and batteries at competitive pricing.

I use this collar on 2 beagles. You must keep filled. One of my beagles learned quiclky that she could bark until the spray ran out-she was conditioned that she could bark and get sprayed for about 25 sprays and then be free of the annoyance. It worked great until she learned this-my fault as I should have brought her in to check the fill status. Only downside is that there is no way of knowing how full the unit is. I just follow directions and use can for 20 seconds. I have used shock collars also but consider this to be the best. Battery lasts a decent amount of time and unit has a shutoff to conserve battery life. Refils can be expensive if purchased at specialty store (Petsmart/petco).

This product truly works wonders... No it doesn't harm your animal in any way.. The only slight down-side is, at least my dog does this, the animal learns to bark soft enough that the collar won't spray..

My doggie is just little. I could not imagine using the electric shock collar on her. I was extremely pleased with the way this worked, and without causing harm to her.

This was a great buy, even with the shipping.

The product is excellent. The citronella collar makes our Welsh Corgi a bit quieter.

We have a 9 year old Lab that just loves to bark at any sound. With the Anti Bark Collar and Citronella Spray, we have had a nice quiet enjoyable holiday without any barking!

This came to me very, very fast; within 2 days. The collar it goes with also came fast and both are working for my bothersome Old English Sheep Dog.

This spray and collar combo works. My only issue is that I wish I would have learned how to use it as a tool, not a crutch to stop bad behavior. I can't walk past an insect repellant aisle at the store without thinking of my dog because of the smell.

I had a can of the Premier Spray Sense Citronella Refill for Anti Bark Collar which I'd purchased elsewhere and it did not work properly in refilling my dog's collar. I had no recourse because it was an "as is" type purchase and it would not have been practical for me to pay the return shipping and then take a chance that the replacement would be operational. The cans I've purchased from Amazon have been functional, arrived quickly, especially w/ the Prime membership shipping, and my dog really hates the spray it produces, and that's just what I wanted. As for refilling the collar, even when the device seems to be filled, after a few days, I top it off and I always test the microphone and battery by blowing into the device, with the spray pointed way out from my face, of course, before putting it around the dog's neck. If the battery is dead, then the spray will not dispense and it is simply wasted in the reservoir while your dog may continue to bark. If your collar device ceases to operate even with a fresh battery and a full reservoir, then contact the Premier people and they are eager to guide you in testing and then remedy the situation if the device is faulty. They provide excellent customer service for a product which has reduced the stress of my dog, neighbors and eased my conscience when I have to leave my old dog for long periods of time. A single can lasts for weeks for us, but if you have a vocal dog, I'd recommend purchasing two cans at a time so you're not caught without citronella ammo.
