Plesant walks----FINALLY!,

This review is from: Easy Walk Harness (M/L)(Red) (Kitchen)
I have a 55 pound mixed breed who has never been a good walker. We have tried every collar and harness there was and still ended up being unwilling participants in "Squirrel Olympics" as we would be pulled along for the chase. I saw this harness and figured I would give it a try. For the first time in 10 years, I am truly enjoying going for walks with my dog. I read the instructions, as I had with every other method we tried, and have to admit I was a little skeptical. We set out for our walk and it was great! No more pulling me, and no harm to my dog. I had tried the head halti type lead before, based on the same principal that if the dog pulls and their head turns, they will stop pulling. It did not work. With this harness, if the dog pulls, with the strap being across her chest, she is stopped. She tried to pull hard and fast when a squirrel ran out in front of us and across the grass, and when she did, she only got so far before she was stopped and almost flipped onto her back. That was the last time she tried that! I highly recommend this product and only wish I had known about it when I first started trying to leash train my dog.Follow the sizing guidelines for the correct fit which is needed for this harness to work properly.

A Game-Changer,

I have a 70lb American Bulldog who my girlfriend and I adopted from a shelter as a three year-old. I mention this fact not because I like the holier-than-thou feeling of having a rescue dog (though for the record, I do) but instead to show that our dog had had little formal leash training before we got him. Even on a choke chain the draw of a squirrel, barking dog, or interesting smelling bush would be too much for him to handle. Once we started walking him on this leash however he immediately got the hang of the whole "heal" thing. He's now a pleasure to walk, and it's largely due to this harness. It's definitely worth buying.
