The Premier Martin Yale Moistener looks good but doesn't work. Every envelope flap that I tried to moisten was torn as it passed thru the device. To get an envelope thru, I had to put a weight on the device or set it against a lip of some kind to keep it from moving. The moistening was irregular, too moist in one area, nothing on another part of the flap. The strip that does the moistening is fragile and not adjustable. I was dissapointed.

Wouldn't Recommend this item. When sealing envelopes the PRELMS1 is either to dry to seal or so wet that the envelope comes through dripping wet. There is no happy medium.

This product doesn't seal or moisten. I have tried my best to experiment because its hard to believe that they could sell something that fails so badly. This has to be a manufacturing flaw with no quality control.

The sealer works, off and on. Often times the envelopes don't feed through, they jam up prior to coming out and either getting wrinkled or torn. You have to fight with it to get them out/through. You also have to press down the flap as it passes over the moistener strip to ensure it gets moist enough to seal properly.

Not pleased with the way the product works and wouldn't reommend this product.

I returned this item. When I ordered it I mistakenly thought it was battery or electrically operated. Being hand operated it really did not speed up the process of preparing a large bulk mailing. Had it been power operated I would have been delighted with it.
