5.0 out of 5 stars Hours of Enjoyment
This toy has provided countless hours of enjoyment for our dog. We have a 65lb labrador greyhound mix. She eats most toys and is not fond of kongs once the stuffing is out (but she is not able to eat the kongs beyond the soft puppy one). 3.0 out of 5 stars Not suitable for super chewers!
While I love the concept of this toy, my 70 pound Lab gnawed a large hole in one end of it in about an hour. He hasn't done any damage to the large Kong he's had for seven months. This Medium/Large Busy Buddy just isn't tough enough for my resolute chewer. I've uploaded a photo of the damaged Waggle.

This toy is great because the hole is small, yet there are little prongs you can cut to make the toy less challenging. I think she enjoys the noise the treats make inside the balls. Larger treats of course take her longer to get out, but stuffing it with her food works just fine most of the time. She realyl enjoys all of the Busy Buddy products - Squirel Dude is great but the saucer got old quickly for her.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great dog toy!!, July 20, 2008

My dog is very picky with toys and can normally chew any of them apart. This toy is not only durable but adding some treats to it gives her a good 30 minutes of fun. She rolls all over and attempts to chew, move, and shake the treats out of the bone. It is hysterical. We have had this toy for at least 3 months so it has held it's value very well for us and my dog still goes crazy barking when I start filling the ends up with treats. By the way, I just break up some milkbones or whatever treats I have on hand. I don't buy specific ones for the bone.

2.0 out of 5 stars Poor Design- This size is actually better for a smaller dog, July 23, 2009
I bought the medium/large size because the small size was incredibly small and it looked really flimsy. This was meant to busy my 23 lb. french bulldog. This packaging suggests you should add treats to the slits in the two outside bubbles and in the center opening. The slits are completely useless and are not deep enough to fit treats. That being said, I broke up biscuit treats to put in the center bubble openings. My dog was really entertained while he quickly ate the pieces of cookie that rolled out. Any pieces larger than a dime could not be extracted. To my frustration, I too cannot get the larger pieces out because of the plastic prongs inside the opening. I have extremely petite hands and tried for a half an hour to get them out with no luck. The cookie pieces are stuck and my dog is bored. I wish there was a happy medium with this toy instead the extreme in which the cookies either fall out with no effort or the treats are impossible to get. I would not buy this again and will probably give this to a friend with a more active chewer.

My dog destroyed the soft flexible middle in short order... Not
nearly as good as "Squirrel Dude" or "Chuckle" by Premier, both
of which seem indestructilbe.

4.0 out of 5 stars My sheltie LOVES this! and it has a safety feature, January 20, 2008

**NOTE** You can't see it in the product photo but this toy has a safety feature where, on each end of the toy, there is the opening for the dog's tongue and there are also 2 safety air holes opposite each other to provide pressure release so your dog's tongue won't create a suction effect and get stuck in the toy. There are 2 safety holes just in case one gets blocked, the other is unlikely to be blocked too.

Anyway, on to the review:

My dog, a 30 lb sheltie, has been using this toy for well over a month with no damage. I pack each end with a mixture of kibbles and Zuke's Natural Minis treats in Chicken and Salmon flavors and hand it to my dog.

I can see how an aggressive chewer could chew the middle part in half, it's kind of a softer material, but my dog doesn't bother with it because it's not the food part. She's not the type to destroy or rip apart a toy to get at the treat inside. She just tries to get her tongue inside where the treats are, and sometimes nibbles at the opening.

So, my little girl loves the Premier Waggle. Gotta love the Premier toys if you have a food motivated dog who won't tear a toy in half to get to the food. ^_^

I did knock one star off my rating because it is difficult to clean inside where the food goes. If a few kibbles are left in it it's darn near impossible to get them out, both for my dog and even for me with my super handy thumbs and all. I always wonder if there's a gross old kibble or two in there.

**Update** Over 17 months now, still looks close to new except for a few tooth punctures and the slobber covering it. This toy is how my sheltie eats all of her kibble. It takes her anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour until she gives up trying to get anymore out. I cram each end, it's the best way to get her interested in it, as she knows it's too difficult to get them out when there's only a dozen tiny kibbles in each end. I feed her Canidae, perfect size for this toy.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not tough enough, May 3, 2007

My 25-lb Tibetan Terrier had this toy in two parts after less than 24 hours. It's a shame they couldn't make exactly this design out of something as tough a Nylabone. The treat dispenser ball on either end is very well designed to capture interest. But I was very disappointed that he chewed into two separate pieces that quickly.

5.0 out of 5 stars My puppy LOVES his waggle, November 7, 2010
My dog is a heavy chewer, like the other reviewers - however, I still rate this toy as indestructible because my dog is able to discriminate between it and stuffed animals that he would actually tear apart. Instead, he just tosses it around the house for hours, waiting for something to pop out of it. I love that it is actually DIFFICULT for a treat to fall out, because this keeps my dog busy for a longer period of time. It does just enough dispensing that it doesn't fall into the extremes of either giving too many or not enough (so that the dog doesn't get bored and frustrated). He also loves to play "tug of war" with it.

5.0 out of 5 stars pitbull nurses waggle toy, April 16, 2010

This review is from: Premier Pet Waggle Dog Toy (Misc.)
My 10-month old pitbull loves this toy. We did not cut the prongs at all and we feed her meals in this toy three times every day. She lays down on her side with the toy between her paws and licks them out like a nursing baby. When she thinks its meal time she'll find it and bring it to me to fill. Too, too cute.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazingly durable, April 15, 2010

This review is from: Premier Pet Waggle Dog Toy (Misc.)
My young lab has destroyed almost every toy put in front of her, but this toy has been the most durable we've tried. I didn't cut any of the "fingers" and she works relentlessly to get the treats/kibble out. When it's not full of treats, it makes a great toy to throw for her to catch, as it is soft and light, and doesn't risk injury to her teeth.

I have tried nylabones, which she chews to the point of tiny, tiny slivers of it coming off, and fearing injury, I've had to discontinue using them.

So pleased with this toy!
