Firstly, let me state that when I purchased this exact item, I got it for $35 at my local Sams Club, and it was 50% off. There is no way I would have paid this much for a board game, no matter how much I love it or how classic it is. Furthermore, I must also point out that the "Elegant Organizer Tray" is nothing more that a cheap piece of molded plastic (think boxed chocolates) that has been flocked to give it a velvet feel. Over all, this is a beautiful game board and a must have for Scrabble fans, but in truth, it is not worth the current price Amazon is selling it for ($199.99 retail $175.00 on sale). Buy it elsewhere if you can find it.

This game board is very nice and the added accents of the brass name plates adds to the look and feel of this quality product. We have purchased a few game boards in the past, looking for the quality and looks, and this is our last. We went through the other boards and found them to be cheap feeling and they appeared to be cheap plastic boards. This wood setup is very nice and if you shop right you will find it priced around the same as some of the other lesser quality boards. If you are looking for a nice looking Scrabble game board that will last a long time and look great then look no further.

This is a very elegant and sophiscated piece to give as a gift. I highly recommend.
