This armband might be fine if you didn't want access to the Hold button on top of your Nano. The slot for your iPod is a tight squeeze, so putting it in or getting it out is a pain in the butt. On the bottom there is a velcro tab to keep your iPod from slipping out, but it's off-center for the wrong side. This means that the tab gets in the way of your earphone jack, meaning it's folded up on the jack.

This is not a bad price, but I didn't feel the design was well thought out.

The case doesn't have an opening for the hold button on the top of the 5th gen nano so when I toss it in my gym bag it gets bumped "on" 1/2 of the time. It tends to gather condensation on the inside of the plastic face from sweat.

I use this armband for my 5th generation IPod while running. It works as I anticipated. It stays snug on my arm--it does not slide--and it not bothersome. It does get some condensation buildup inside the clear plastic face, but I expect that when I'm sweating. Occasionally, the IPod ear-bud wires get tangled with my hands while running, but I believe that would occur with any armband. I recommend this armband for use while running or working out in the gym, especially when considering the very reasonable price.

I could not access the hold button due to there not being one available. I used a pair of scissor to cut a hole in the area where the button was to access it. The slot for your iPod is rather tight, so taking it in and out of the sleeve is a pain. The click wheel plastic cover came off the first time I put the Nano in the sleeve, no biggy though. I mainly bought this one due to the larger arm band. Other ones were not big enough for my biceps. I am not a bodybuilder but my biceps are over 17" and this band works great. This is not a bad price, but I didn't feel the design was well thought out.

Perfect example of getting what you pay for, so I guess ultimately I'll take responsibility for choosing it. I think it lasted around 2 weeks, the material completely unraveled to the point that I just had a big lump of fabric around the ipad. Just did not hold up at all, plus the hold button was covered so I had to cut an additional section out to accommodate that.

Go ahead and spend the money to buy a quality IPod carrier, especially if you use it to work out.

Flimsy cheap construction. Disposable. Will barely fit a nano ipod and the material feels rough against bare skin and the velco looks like it will fail soon.

Overall this is good for the money. The only problem I had was the velcro was stronger than the glue holding it to the band. Took out some needle and thread and it works great now.

I bought this as protection for my new iPod Nano. Well, almost immediately after getting it the little Velcro adjustment dots on the band started to come off. They were just held on with some weak glue. Not long after that the armband fabric itself started to separate and now it's in two pieces. If this had been stitched it wouldn't have happened. True, this didn't cost all that much, but still, one expects something more durable than this in something that's to be used during exercise.

I can't recommend this armband, sadly.

I am thin, but not ridiculously so. (I'm 5' 7" and about 125 pounds.) There is no reason why a mass-produced armband shouldn't fit me. But alas, it doesn't. Even on the tightest setting, it is far too large for me.

I had to mangle the thing by cutting a new hole into it. Please, if you are on the thin side, do not purchase this armband.

I used this when I went to the gym. After about 2 months the Velcro pads fell off and I was unable to use it. I am not pleased with how well it holds up with everyday use.
