This item is listed as 1600 mAh capacity. Seller shipped 1100 mAh capacity. Seller claimed it was listed incorrectly, should have been listed as 1400 mAh Capacity. You can buy this item for less elsewhere for the capacity that seller delivers.

I was very reluctant to purchase any more camera batteries online. I bought 5 batteries about 3 years ago for 20.00 each, and they lasted one photo session each!
Amazon.com listed a 2 pack of bp 511A batteries, NEW! for less than 11.00!!!! I said ok, I cant go wrong here, so I ordered 2 of the 2 packs totaling 4 batteries, I have taken over a six hundred pictures so far on one set with only one charge (after 400 photos) since I got them, I haven't even opened the other set yet..Summertime is here and all four will get a workout very soon.
All that said, I would reccommend these batteries to anyone who cant afford the OEM batteries at 70 dollars each! I am very pleased with this product, my camera operates very well as does my autofocus and flash..nothing has been given up.

I thought I would give an update, it is now Sept 11th 2011 and yes the batteries I purchased in May of this year are still going strong!!! I will buy these batteries again maybe another set of 4 in case I end up on a 2 week camping trip somewhere.. At the rate prices are going up on everything, I believe I will purchase these again in the very very near future. BTW, my camera is a canon digital rebel with well over 13000 photos shot through it, probably need a good cleaning, but the batteries are definately worth $11.00.

Worked better than expected and a great value. I own a Canon ZR50MC and the charge lasts just as long as the more expensive Canon brand.

Since I haven't had these batteries for a long time (~3 weeks), I can't comment on their long term performance. However, the little I have used them, they have performed well. They charged without any issues and seem to be holding their charge. Only time will tell how they hold up long term, but so far, I'm very pleased.

These batteries are more than worth the money! I have a two battery extended pack for my camera and bought two for it. I didn't have to charge my batteries for over two weeks of constant photo taking, between my son's 4th birthday, family visit, and Thanksgiving. I am more than happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone.

needed a battery in hurry for video camera. got 2 for less than the price of 1, compared to local retailer(who didn't even have it in stock and would have to order) paid a few $ extra to get it quickly. it arrived on time, as promised. i've been doing more shopping on line!

As many others, i too was reluctant to purchase non-canon batteries. After reading some of the other reviews i said what the hell and purchased theses. What i received were 1800s instead of 1600!!! im stoked and they were brand new in box. havent shot with them much yet but stoked to have new batteries compared to the 30min life i had on my previous battery. GREAT BUY!!!

Getting two batteries for this price is a great deal. The run time was exceptional, and on a recent trip having the second battery ready to go saved us from missing footage we otherwise would have not been able to get.
