I just got this item today, and it's exactly what I wanted. It's a handsome slim leather case that flips open easily. Once open, the entire screen and side+top buttons are easily accessible. Even when closed, the USB port and earphone jack are exposed. The case makes the unit quite a bit thicker, but I don't mind that at all. Now I can let the IpodTouch 2G live in my pocket with loose coins without fear of any damage, and when in use the leather gives it a nice secure feel. This is a really excellent solution to protecting the Ipod.

So about a week or so before I bought this case I also bought one at the Apple store when I bought the iPod Touch 2G, that case was a mistake and expensive as well (Buy in haste, repent at leisure.).
In frustration I was making do with an old cell phone case when I found this, oh happy day!

It was less than 1/3 of the price of the other case ( And I'm still kicking myself for not checking out Amazon resellers first. ) and what I wanted in the first place.

I don't know when these will be back in stock but if you get the chance buy one!
Get a screen guard if you must, I don't find one necessary, but this case is the "really works and looks good" deal at a price you can afford.

I've only just recieved this case but for what I wanted, a case to protect the iPod Touch while in my pocketbook or pocket, it's perfect. It looks handsome, seems well constructed, and is exactly what I needed. I can not say how it will perform over time because I just recieved it, but for now, it's excellent. It also has openings so that all the ports and buttons are excesable. I've ordered two more for my grand children for christmas.

I love this iPod Touch case. The leather is soft, just the way I was hoping, and it fits perfectly. The price was excellent too. Highly recommended!

This is the perfect case for the 2nd Gen ipod touch. The case is real leather. It has openings in all of the right places so you can charge, plug in the headphones, control the volume, etc. without taking the ipod out of the case. The touch fits snuggly and will not slip out. The closure is a snap button closure. It is not magnetic. This really is a great deal and the case comes in so many different colors (though I got black).

This cause has a flip open cover with a magnetic latch to keep it closed. The small magnet on this case does not cause any issue with the ipod 2g (unlike some other low cost cases that include magnets) so it should be fine for any gen touch. When open, the case doesn't cover the top section of the ipod so the light sensor is not blocked. This allows the display to be bright in lighted conditions as it should be.

Basically, it's a fair little leather case for a 2g touch. Nothing too fancy, just functional as expected.

This is a great, simple case - more than worth what I paid for it. I have the 32GB Touch, and it fits perfectly. It also doesn't add much of anything to the Touch's nice small size.

The item I received is not the same as the one pictured. The straps along the edge are much thicker and cover up the headphone jack completely. Other than this, the case would have worked fine, but the audio is a pretty important thing to be able to access.

I was looking all over for a case to protect my new ipod touch. It did cost $400 after all, I thought that I might as well do everything that I could to protect it. I did buy apples extended warranty plan but they don't cover breaking it.....
This case is great. It fits perfect. You can still use all of the buttons and jacks, like volume control and charging it....
It's awesome. And best of all is there is not a stupid clip attached to it. Can't beat the price!

I ordered this product in part based on earlier reviews and I was not disappointed. The quality of materials and construction is better than I expected at this price. It fits perfectly, provides excellent protection and looks good. What else could you want?
