I bought this charger for my LG VX8300. It works just as well as the $29.99 version my boyfriend bought for his VX8300. I would definitely recommend this for anyone needing a car charger.

Are you kidding? You cannot steal one for this cheap. It works what else even matters

Admittedly, when I purchased this car charger, I was not necessarily solely focused on buying a car charger at the time. I was actually in the market to buy an extended lithium-ion battery for my LG VX-8300, and I soon found myself browsing the accessories that were being recommended to me.

I immediately saw the car charger with an almost unbelievable price tag ($1.55) and couldn't resist taking a peek. I thought to myself, "For $1.55, it can't hurt to have a car charger on hand in case you need it." So, I added it to my shopping cart and proceeded to wait for the item to arrive.

Upon receiving the car charger, I took it out of the package and tried to plug it into my phone to make sure everything was okay. I thought we had an issue at this point however, because I couldn't seem to get the cable of the car charger plugged into my phone. I looked at the port on my phone and the plug of the car charger and it looked as though they didn't match.

Anyhow, to try and make this already somewhat long review short, I played around with the car charger and the phone for a few minutes more and finally managed to get them connected. The next morning, I hooked it all up to the 12v outlet in my car and confirmed that the car charger worked as advertised.

In short, most definitely a cheap ($$-wise) performer.

I give this product 1 star for being so cheap, that I it is not a terrible loss. It worked for only two days. The connector is made of plastic that's so soft and poor that it disintegrated after just few uses, rendering the charger useless. I can not recommend this product. However I did recently buy similarly cheap charger from the same retailer for my iPod (for 6 cents), and it works great.

While I would not call this a "Rapid Charger", it does work well enough. For the money (under $5), it can't be beat. Like most chargers for the LG phone, insertion of the charger male end into the phone is rather persnickity. I would give the device an overall 3.5 stars.

Purchase this charger at un unbeatable price. This charger is being used for LG VX5300 and its performance is good.

Charger arrived before promised date. Works fine. Shipping is 4x the cost of the unit, but the total is still much less than an equivalent unit at the Verizon store.

needed replacement car charger for my cell phone. went to Verizon they wanted $29... checked amazon found one for .97 plus $2.99 shipping bought it arrived in about 4 days works fine will always go to amazon first!!!!!! not as heavy as verizon model but works just fine. $4 compared to $29 what a difference buy amazon screw verizon!!!!

Well, it does its job-- it charges my phone. But the cord is WAAAAAY too short. I wouldn't recommend buying this produce. :-(
