I had previously purchased the crystal clear screen protector from Lexerd, only to have a large scratch on it within three months. So I went ahead and bought this three pack, and it worked just fine. Unlike the Lexerd screen protector, this one is actually large enough to fill the entire glass cover.
It was simple enough, simply clean your screen, peel off the first side, place it on the screen, and when you have it aligned perfectly, use the provided card to push out any air bubbles. However, I did not have any cards included in my pack of three, but no big deal. I just used a credit card I had on the side. Then you can peel off the second side, leaving you with a nice and smooth screen protector! Do note that there are numbers on the covers on either side, to indicate which side you peel off first, placing down onto the Zune.

Definitely glad I got the 3 pack for a few bucks more as I screwed up the first try. The pack says they're washable/reusable, I'd have to disagree after my experience with the first one.

The instructions on the packaging are very clear. Unless you weren't paying attention to them, I don't see how anyone could get confused. The front and back of the screen protector are clearly labeled so you can pull back the backside and press it on top to down. Also on the packaging I noticed several claims to the product's abilities. Lets go through some. To the right I'll put my opinion of the claim,

Anti-Glare...........................Yeah, cuts glare good
Dust Repelling.......................Yeah, it keeps it dust free pretty well
Fingerprint free.....................Not so much, even with pretty dry clean hands you'll still get minor smudges or prints, but they do wipe off real easy
Improves Handwriting Recognition.....Zune HD doesn't do handwriting recognition, but I did recognize the touch screen being more accurate and easier to slide my finger on with the product on. Right away I was making fewer errors when clicking/tapping links on the web
Washable and Reusable................I've mentioned this already, I seriously doubt it'd be worth the trouble even if it is possible by the looks of it

All in all I'm satisfied since I didn't actually expect it to live up to the claims on the packaging, and since the "Improves Handwriting Recognition"/Accuracy Improvement claim turned out to be true it was just icing on the cake.

I'll start with the application process, which I didn't really understand. The first two went in the trash because I messed up - my mistake, nothing on the part of the manufacturer.

Once I got it on, the little card and cleaning wipe came in handy. No bubbles, looks nice. Problem came when I started it up. I watch a lot of videos on my Zune. I noticed the screen was considerably darker. No glare, but much darker especially when watching videos. In order to comfortably watch a video I needed to beef up the brightness of the Zune, which in turn will eat more battery time. Not a big deal, I plug it in regularly, but can be bad for long car rides if you don't have a car charger (Don't watch videos while driving - come on!).

My other big problem is the fact that it shows smudges and finger prints a lot more than the normal screen. After finding a song and turning up the volume it looks really messy. These screens constantly need to be wiped down.

Very cheap, and I'm sure most screens will have this result - so I can't complain too much. I needed something to protect the screen - just be ready for a darker, messier view of your Zune.

The price is right and it works better than that high priced item at that new brand store. Go for it!!! It's a good buy at 3 for the price of one.

The screen protectors' works like a charm. Very good fit. Lose one star due to instructions that is a bit difficult to interpret.

After waiting nearly three weeks for these to arrive from Hong Kong, I was eager to apply one to my Zune. Fit was astonishingly precise, but there the praise ends. I read the instructions carefully and applied the item. Many air bubbles dotted the screen and I had to reattach the protective screen, to no avail since additional air bubbles were created when it was lifted. After using a credit card to squeeze most of the bubbles out, I attempted to remove the remaining paper tab from the screen. There are two paper tabs - one which removes the hard plastic backing prior to application, and one to remove after application. This last one would not come off - it was glued on. Forcible removal lifted the protector from the Zune and mandated reapplication, and more air bubbles, and it left a thin paper layer on the protector which wouldn't come off. I tried another protector screen with the same unsatisfactory results. I trashed them. While the screens were on, I did try out the touch sensitivity and was pleased that the Zune remained very responsive. Do not buy these protective screens.

Once I applied the product it left huge bubbles on the screen of my Zune. I immediately removed the screen protector but the damage was done. The bubbles won't go away and it completely ruined my MP3 player.

the way i look at ... a screen protector should be able to do a few things.... these things are protect the screen... give full functionality with it on... and not scratch this product fails in two of these categories... One I could have to the zune in my pocket with some quarters and the next thing I know the screen protector is all jacked up... that should not happen... also I have noticed some speed and accuracy issues when touching the touch screen through the screen protector... that is also not good... this is a very bad product

update...

after avoiding putting my zune in my pocket with keys and quarters... small but bold scratches were still apearing on the screen and only after completely removing everything from my "zune pocket" the screen protector not scratch this includes my PLAASTIC PHONE... one thing is certain... only something harder can scratch something softer and saying that a screen cover is more delicate then my plastic phone... absurd... now i know the main reason they give you 3 screen protectors... so if one gets jacked up you have to replace it to keep the screen from looking like crap... those are supposed to be used for mess ups while applying the screen protectors and changing them out when they get worn and a corner lifts or something

Pure junk. No directions but easy enough to figure out. The main problem is the adhesive used in the tabs on the cover. When you peal the tabs off the backside still sticks to the cover. The glue is too strong. you would need some kind of solvent to get the residue of the tab off. I am not going to put any kind of solvent near my brand new Zume. Tried 2 covers with the same results. Threw the third one out.
Don't waste you money.

The item needs to be improved, the sticker that needs to be removed after the screen is in position cant peel off easily...so the screen had been scratched a little while trying to remove this.
