Just received my order and was sorely disappointed: my first reaction was that it was made of really cheap materials. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some kind of stiff cardboard underneath the rubber-like fabric and zippers that make up the design. Since the item WAS inexpensive, I wasn't too upset about this. However, the zippers on my case were so ill-made and poorly designed that they made the case virtually unusable. Basically, the zippers zip open fine, but when closing, the zipper catches on the zipper lining. For this reason, it takes a lot of strength (and determination) to close the case, and when I get it closed, I notice that it's ripped up a lot of the fabric near the zipper. While I can struggle with the zipper now, I wouldn't be surprised if the zipper broke after a short time of use. [I've since noticed that the zipper moves smoother now that the lining is a torn, thereby removing whatever it was catching on.]

When I contacted the vendor Bargaincell for a refund due to defective product (I assume my case is defective since others have left positive reviews), they responded quickly once, but took a few days to actually give me an RMA # (which you need in order to get a refund).

I would just warn anyone considering purchasing this item that while you might get a perfectly working product, you might also get a defective unusable one. Just keep this in mind when making your decision. I walked into a Radioshack today and was surprised to find better designed camera cases for less than $10 (although they did not have hard shells like this one), so I really regret purchasing this one since it's turned out to be a lot more trouble than it's worth.

As a side note, I'm also including the measurements of the case's CAMERA COMPARTMENT (not the overall size), since there's been a lot of talk about camera fit:

H 4.5" x W 2.75" x D 1.125"

(My Canon Powershot SD800 IS -- measuring at H 3.5" x W 2.25" x D 1" -- fits fairly well in it with a little spare room.)

I purchased this case for my Powershot SD950 IS. It is just what I was looking for. It protects the camera and provides a little extra space for a spare battery and sd chips. I don't get the reviews that object to the size of the case, it is slightly larger than the camera, but to provide protection doesn't it need to be? Update, I liked it so much I purchased another one (different color) for my Kodak ZX1 video camera, Room for the camera, extra sd chips and a couple of AA batteries. Of course the price can't be beat.

Really I can't beleive all these reviews are complaining about the case Seriously get over it I have a hot pink cannon powershot sd1400si the case is bigger than the camera yeah but I use my camera like crazy every day multiple times a day taking pictures and showing pictures so it's small enough to fit into my little purse and my even smaller party purse not to mention I'm always prepared with an extra battery and memory card which the case holds both plus it even holds my extra Android Phone battery. Sooo whats to big for you is completly awesome and perfect for me that's why I give it a five star and say you just try to find another zebra camera case as cute and this one for the price that gets as many compliments as this one :P

It's a well made case and it was a great deal, so what's not to like?

Ok, so maybe not everyone will want a pink camera case... but I've never forgotten my camera anywhere! This case is good, sturdy, and durable. I like that it holds the camera in place with a strap, nice feature. Honestly, if you buy a camera, you must protect your investment. I'd recommend this item.

For the price, its not too bad. Not the best one around, you can buy better ones for more. But it surely serves the purpose of protecting the camera.

I ordered the orange case & when I first opened it I thought they sent me the wrong color. In better light it does look orange, just not the shade I was expecting. I was hoping this was a bright orange like it look in the picture but it is really a dark (almost reddish) orange. I still really like it though. It's a good hard case & I love that I can store extra batteries & memory card in the same case as my camera. I have a fujifilm finepix & it fits in this case great!

I ordered this camera case not knowing what to expect, i received it in great condition and is a very sturdy case with a pocket inside it as well, it definately meets my expectations.

I'm very happy with this case. It was cheap and is very sturdy. Fits my camera perfectly. I would buy this again.

It is what you see. A basic case w/ a hook. Durable. FYI- Bigger than I thought - much bigger than my PowerShot SD1400.
