The cable I received doesn't match what's in the photos. The modular plug on the cable I received doesn't have the extra insulation over the plastic modular tab to prevent it from being snagged or broken. In fact, the two photos showing on this product even look different. The seller I purchased from was BargainCell (through Amazon) and now the seller has changed to a different company.

So it looks like they're just using a stock photo that might be different than whatever you'll actually end up getting. Had I known the cable didn't have the modular plastic tab covering, I would have gotten a different cable.

It works. That's a plus. My ratio of cables ordered to cables that actually worked is about 10:7 (from a variety of places, not just amazon). This one arrived packaged in a bag. That's all. A sheath of plastic with a shipping label. My immediate thought was, "Great. I bet this one is janked." But no, it works fine. My rating of 5 stars reflects my relief more than anything, certainly not for packaging.

Was everything I expected it to be. Great Ethernet Cable for a unbeatable price. A 25ft cable was 20 bucks at walmart, I only paid $3 for it here.

I was originally skeptical because it was a great deal, but was pleasantly surprised with the quality and fast shipping.

First of all, I'd like to say that I ordered two of these cables and both came as pictured, with the
extra covering to prevent snagging. The two pictures in the photo show the product from the top and
from the bottom, which is why they look different.

This cable has worked great for me. I've played Uncharted 2 multiplayer on my PS3 for many hours with
this cable and it's never given me problems. I've also used it to connect to the Internet with my
laptop and my Nintendo Wii (via a USB to LAN adapter), and I've connected to a Local Area Network to
play computer games with my friends. Again, I don't believe this cable has ever slowed me down.

The ends of the cable securely connect to LAN slots and are pretty easy to remove. I have no
complaints, and for a cable, that's all I can ask for.

Item is as pictured, white with the protective plastic over the tabs. I bought two, but it doesn't look like ill be needing the second one for quite a long time.

This cable arrives well packed and ready to go to work. No issues were found using it. It is well made and with the plastic tab guards, should last quite a long time.

This lan cable was 95 percent cheaper than similiar products selling in my area. It was used to connect a Sony Blu Ray to my network. It works perfectly. The best part of all, it arrived inside of a week. Bravo Zulu to this company. I definitely encourage others to purchase from them, and if I have cable needs in the future, they will be at the top of my list.

I recently moved to a new house and needed a longer Ethernet cable due to the new setup of computer and modem/wall jack in the bedroom. My old cable was hanging across the room, and a 25ft would be perfect so I could go around the baseboard and hide it.

Of course I am looking for the cheapest price possible, but wondering if I will "get what I paid for".

I tried my luck and bought this cable!
It arrived, I connected to my computer, and instead of the 100.0 Mbps speed that my OLD cable gave me, it would only connect at 10.0 Mbps!!! Extremely SLOW! As soon as I would put my old cable back, I would get the 100.0 Mbps again. I thought that it was because my OLD cable was just Cat5 and the NEW one was CAT5e.

So I emailed Eforcity's Tech Support. They responded within a few HOURS and immediately shipped a new one (same Cat5e), at no cost, and I didn't even have to mail the old one back.

The replacement arrived, and it works PERFECTLY!!! So I am very happy now!!!
