Perfect for what I needed. Fits snug around the phone and looks great. The only issue is that the pins on the bottom are blocked. I personally don't use them which makes no difference otherwise.

Almost everything about this case is great. I like the way it looks, and feels not to stiff but not to rubbery either. It fits well, and stays on really snug. The only thing is the cutout on the bottom for the mic isn't positioned well. It doesn't completely cover the mic but it isn't centered and just looks like they were off a tad in there design. Also I wish this case would have came with a screen protector. Most cases come with one so i just expected it, and was disappointed when it didn't. I still recommend this case as the benefits outweigh the problems

I wasn't so sure how this would look on the phone, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It looks and feels great. The transparency works well with the phone, and it fits very well.
It does cover up the dock connectors, so keep that in mind if you think you'll get a dock.
Also, while I'm sure it'll add some extra protection in case of a drop, it won't do anything to protect the screen. Just keep that in mind.

Quality case, I am more than satisfied with it. If you are trying to decide if you want this or not please consider the following:

Pros:

-Leaves openings for all Mics, Sensors, Connections etc
-Cut perfect for phone
-Quality made
-Awesome price! I don't understand why some cases cost $20+, what does the extra cash even get you?
-Does not block the use of the track ball

Cons (all of the cons should be obvious by just looking at the picture, I am just confirming them):
-Will not fit in pouch
-Attracts dust
-Does not cover around track ball (both a pro and con, depends on if you use the track ball)
-Will not fit in dock
-Camera still exposed
-Requires a bit more effort to push top button

Does what it says and fits snuggly. It has just enough grip and leaves you with enough room to still use the trackball.

I was originally using this case, but it was bulky, it gripped too much (had to fight to get it into my pocket!), and it obstructed the trackball: Nexus One FlexiSkin - The Soft Low-Profile Case (Jet Black)

Well, I really like the protection it provides. The phone just snaps into the flexible plastic case. The edges of the case curl up around the phone so if it's laying on the touchscreen, the case will hold it off the surface, providing it's flat. The plastic is a bit soft and has a tendency to pull away from the phone on the sides, and is slowly creeping behind my power button; it's difficult to press at some angles. But all in all, the $4 I paid is well worth the cost.

Design-wise, I was disappointed by the color and emphasis of the plaid. Based on the picture, I was expecting a shiny smoke-black case with a gray plaid print on it. Instead, I received a translucent gray case, with the plaid pattern laser-cut into the inner surface. The pattern isn't even visible most of the time; it needs to be held in just the right light.

So a quick wrap-up: Functionality: 4-stars. Aesthetics: 1-star. It rounds out to the 3-star score I gave it.

I ordered this, along with a clear case, to see which I'd like the most. Well, I didn't have much of a choice as this case (the smoked one) barely fit my N1. The pliable plastic was a bit too pliable and very loosely hugged the phone. It also partially blocked the rear speaker and microphone however, the bottom microphone, charging port, and accessory pins were unhindered. The latter point is not a good thing as there was absolutely no plastic covering the bottom of the phone at all, it was entirely exposed. While this may have made docking possible, it certainly made pressing the power button on top impossible. When you tried to do so, the phone slid downwards in the case itself and poked out the exposed bottom hole. Overall, it's pretty useless.

This is a SLIP ON case, not snap-on.

no complaints. fits well on the phone and makes it easier to hold the device. not soft like silicone covers and not hard like plastic.

I have bought several cases for my Nexus One since I got it. This one is in the top 5 or so. I like this case because it's sleek, isn't bulky, and the design gives my phone a little bit of character. It doesn't stick to my pocket lining like other cases and it's pretty sturdy. I would give it 5 stars except that the bottom part of the case is pretty open to bumps and scratches. I know that the probability of dropping my phone EXACTLY on it's bottom is unlikely, but I think the designers of the case should have thought about that. Granted, all the major areas of the phone are covered perfectly, but the fact that the bottom seemed neglected made me think twice. I still use it now and then because it's thinner than the other cases I have, but I always think of "what if" I drop my expensive phone and it lands on it's bottom. I bought the case for insurance, not style. Hopefully this helps make the next person make an educated decision.

This cover is stylish and functional. It protects my phone well, is easy to remove and put on, and looks great. It is not compatible with the desktop dock, but otherwise is perfect.
