Doesn't work
Looked ok and packaged fine when it arrived... Plugged it in and it doesnt work. You get a double image on both screens... It's possible there isnt enough power to handle the Dell Monitor PLUS the LCD TV so it could be my Dell Dimension Desktop Computer Video Card also. Or it could just be a bad product. Great...

I've been switching the monitor cable back and forth between my pc monitor and flat screen tv (42 inch plasma) for about a year now. I had wanted to purchase one of these VGA splitters for awhile (always switching the plugs on the back of the pc was a pain and was starting to damage the pc connection). However, I had read online that one of these monitor splitters would degrade the resolution (especially since I have a 25ft monitor cable running from my pc to my tv).
I decided to purchase this, and give it a try (it was only a few bucks anyway). And to my DELIGHT... I've found that this item works perfectly. My tv resolution is still superb! (the pc resolution did change slightly, but not enough to make me even work at adjust the pc monitor settings yet.) I am totally happy with this purchase. I should I got one of these months ago!

If anyone complains about this not giving duplicate screens...to put it bluntly...if you don't know anything about computers then perhaps you should investigate a little before you buy. It works perfect for what it is designeed to do with no problems with signal quality. Very well built, a quality product.

Exactly what it states, only issue I have with the item is the second screen is either darker or a little fuzzy sometimes. But overall for the price great product.

So it works like it's supposed to, I'm a bit disappointed that it doesn't allow me to separate the two screens and only allows the two screens to run the same desktop, other then that it works fine
