Although the Amazon Kindle comes with a protective case. I wanted something more form fitting, more snug to protect it from an unexpected meeting with the floor. I also wanted a protective covering for the screen so that the screen wouldn't get scratched.
I got exactly what I wanted with the Premium Amazon Kindle Silicone Skin Case + LCD Screen Shield and Micro Fiber Cleaning Cloth (Amazon Kindle Reading Device NOT included)
The products were exactly as described, the shipping was lighting fast and this particular company's customer service is superb!

The cover works great. Just as described. It protects the unit and also make is more useable, since it is more difficult to accidently push buttons that weren't intended to be pushed. I would recommend it.

I really liked the silicone skin case, it fits very well. The cleaning cloth was alos excellent. However the LCD Screen shield does not work well. It was difficult to apply and the the paper instructions would not come off the shield so it blocks part of the print when I read; i hate it. i will probably ust take the entire shield off. if anyone knows how to remove the paper, i would be thrilled.

The skin case interferes with the proper functioning of the kindle reader by putting pressure on the "next page" button. The LCD screen shield is a definite "DO NOT BUY" item. Since it has powerful adhesives on it, it sticks very well. You HAVE to get it right the first time when you try to apply it. I did not get it right and I now have a bubble on my kindle reader screen. I discarded the skin case and the screen shield-a waste of money. The Kindle Reader case is far from perfect and this skin case and screen shield are not, by any means, a suitable substitute!

This product looks acceptable, good idea but doesn't work. It holds next page tab down making kindle unreadable.

I loved the look of this case when I opened the package. I put it on and it looked beautiful. Unfortunately, over the next couple of days my Kindle started flipping pages on it's own. It jumped around so much I was unable to touch the Kindle without it taking off to some other page or book. The minute I took the skin off, the Kindle started behaving normally. I was really disappointed since I am a bit of a "girly" girl and thought pink case was terrific.
