I bought these headphones to replace a set of crappy $20 SkullCandy earbuds that crapped out on me recently. These headphones lasted about one tenth the time the SkullCandy ones did, and sounded just as bad. Apparently being stored in my pocket loosely wrapped around my iPod is too much stress for these.

I received these headphones very recently so I can't comment on the life span, but so far I can't say that I'm totally pleased with the product.

Comfort:
These earbuds are very large in girth! Small-eared buyers beware. I have small ears and these earbuds hurt my ears from the moment I put them in. Ipod Earphones, for example, are completely unusable to me because they hurt my ears so much. These earbuds are also uncomfortable because the hard plastic part is directly next to the pad, so the plastic part hurts my ears.

Sound Quality:
Decent. Noticeably tinny, and I'm not a audiophile by any means. I compared these to another pair of $10 earbuds I have and they are considerably more tinny. You get used to it though. After a while you don't notice.

Overall, they're decent for the price, but you could honestly do better for the price. In terms of sound quality, I prefer 2xl Spokes. One thing that the Jbuds J2 have going for them is that they don't make a loud noise when you hit the cord like Skull Candy Ink'd earbuds do, and the cord seems very durable unlike the Skull Candy Ink'd earbuds and 2xl Spokes.

I got this item around 1st of February. Today is March 28 and my headphone's cable is about to break. I know JLab says that they have increased durability: "The J2s incorporate thicker, premium quality cabling and heavy-duty flexible joints built to withstand rigorous daily use and carry you through the urban jungle without missing a beat." God I would love to see where. I use them often - on the bus, in the gym, watching movies. I enjoy the sound quality a lot. I thought I got one of the best deals for headphones of all time, but why, why now I start to see the first signs of cable breaking? I can still use them if I hold the cable near the cord, but it is pretty obvious that the cable will eventually break, and pretty soon. I had this problem with other headphones - but even Apple ones last for about 1.5 year!
I should rate them as 1 star - I know. But the sound quality is really good, and the pricing too, so get 2 stars for that, but I feel like I just have lost my money.

These earphones clearly do the job intended. I'm currently listening to music on my laptop with the volume on 10%. With other headphones i've had in the past, i've needed the volume on 16% (Dell earphones), and anywhere from 18-22% with other brands. 10% is very impressive. I also like that these headphones come with a one year warranty (lifetime if you register them at the company website), extra earbuds (i've had problems with them falling off with other earphones, but these have held up so far), and about 10 color choices. I would say that i'll buy again, but i have a lifetime warranty! I will recommend though!

I bought these head phones because i thought i was getting a good deal on then and that they would be of high quality, i was very wrong. The $13 price tag is still to high for these ear bub but they say the retail for $79 what a joke. the head phones are very loud if you like screaming in your ear but they just have highs no mid or lows. my head phones i recieved with my blackberry sound better than these and they are worth $4. do not by these you will be sorry for it i would suggest some altec lansing back beat classic you can get them for about $25 and they sound great

I love these ear buds. I have very small ears, and all the earphones that come standard with iPods hurt my ears, and don't fit. They also don't stay in place. These earbuds are tiny and fit right in my ear, they have the little rubber tips so they stay put and in place, and they are very comfortable to wear. I actually fall asleep with them in my ears every night. I highly recommend these for someone who has the same problem I have, or for just about anyone wanting a more comfortable ear bud.

First I should say, I like the sound on these. They don't cancel the noise as effectively as another pair of headphones that I had, but they do have a nice round sound.

HOWEVER, the right earbud stopped working a couple days past the 60 day return policy. I am incredibly disappointed that this happened so quickly. LAME.

UPDATE: I contacted the company as Amazon has a 60 day return policy, and they are sending me a new pair of earbuds. I am not giving them 3 stars rather than 1.

I now own 5 pairs of JBuds, and will never go back to using another brand. They are the only earbuds I can wear comfortably, and the sound quality is great. Of the five sets I owned, I did enounter a problem with one set where the wires had gotten pinched or exposed somehow. JLab's warranty process was easy and efficient. They really do stand behind their product, and I'd recommend them without hesitation!

Best buds for your ears! Bass that kicks and treble that is crystal I have 3 pairs of these cuz I am rough with them during running/kickboxing and have broken 3 already but for this price they are the best. I bought the J3 because they had a microphone, but the J2 are far better for sound!

Cheap. One set came broken, the second set broke within 30 days. Sound was adequate, but quality was definitely poor.
