The case is really wonderful, especially for the price--it is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to write this review to let you know that the charger DOES NOT work with the ipod touch, a hazard sign comes on the screen as soon as you plug it into the ipod and a note says "charging is not supported with this device"

For the price, I would still get this, the case is great, and the charger can probably be used with a Nano or something like that----but I am annoyed to have to pay the 30 dollars for apple's own wall charger now :(

I like to listen to music when I work-out, so I like knowing my iPod is protected from damage. I like how it's made of leather, so it's more durable and won't shatter if I drop it, but the iPod is still protected. It also has a little strap that I can tie around my wrist or belt loop for when I'm exercing and has a cover that protects my iPod screen. And it's fairly cheap. Good buy!

What a price, what quality! Why pay $30 when you can get the real thing at a more reasonable cost. The only negative, when I try to charge my iTouch 2nd generation, I get a message that this is not an Apple approved charger; so, I don't know whether it is safe to use it or not. Maybe, someone else can advise me. But the case alone is worth it.

The leather case is nice, and charger works fine for me (I have a 1st-generation iPod Touch with the v2.1 software update installed). For $4.18 + $2.98 shipping, this is a fantastic value, and I would highly recommend this package deal if you're in need of these 2 items (or even just one of them--you'd be hard pressed to beat this price). Eforcity shipped via USPS, and the package arrived several days ahead of schedule. I'm a happy customer!

The case is great but I notice that every time I place the ipod in the case it freezes and does not power on in the usual way. Is it to do with the magnetic cover? Has any one else had this problem? I don't have any problem with the charger

I ordered this product and it came in only three days. The case is incredible both because of its design and durability. It looks great and feels great. The case is very durable becuase i dropped it once and nothing happened. The leather looks like its really expensive but for this price it is great. The charger does work for me. I don't know why people say it doesn't work for them because iI have an ipod touch 2nd generation and it works perfectly. Best case I EVER bought.

FYI: I am using this with a 32gb iPod Touch, 2nd Generation.

I think the case and charger are both really nice, but I have two small issues which keep me from giving this a 5-star rating:

1. The cord doesn't fit through the hole in the bottom of the case very well, I have to monkey around with it a bit.
2. The wall charger does work fine with my iPod, and I don't get any warning messages. My only issue with it is that the wall charger and cord are a single unit (and there is no car charger), unlike the 3-in-1's available elsewhere. This is nice for keeping things together, but when I travel, I want the 3-in-1 so I can charge in the car. Fortunately, I can enjoy the case along with a 3-in-1 from another purchase.

As far as I can tell, the case seems sturdy and well built, unlike some similar ones I've seen reviewed on Amazon. We'll see how it holds up after six months or a year or two, but I think it will be fine - especially for the price!

A final note: my case does have a cutout for the volume buttons, but another reviewer has one without a cutout. Perhaps they changed that feature?

but boy did the price go up! now it's 24 w/shipping, that's more than I paid for it.

I wasn't expecting much out of this case. I planned on using it for the 6 weeks it would take to order a Vaja case for my iPod touch 2G, then toss it.

However, the case is surprisingly well-made. There's no cutout for the side buttons, but you can press them through the leather (?) well enough. The magnetic clasp closes well and the seams are solid.

It's been reported that the travel adapter won't work with the iPod touch, but I did not get a message of incompatibility when I plugged it in. Still, it seems cheaply made and I had purchased another adapter with a detachable USB cable anyway, I'll not be using it.

The case alone is worth the price. Perhaps I'll not spend the $90 on the other case!

You can't beat this case if you want your iPod protected. It's easy to open and close and fits the touch nicely. And the case has a classic look. The charger works fine for my 1st gen 16GB iPod Touch.
