To begin with, the item has a good quality - strong leather, good stitching, slick and tasteful appearance - all of the reasons that made me buy it in the first place. However, when I finally got it, I was disappointed.

First of all, it had a very strong and overwhelming smell of leather - I even took it out of my bedroom because I could not breathe with it in the room. Second of all, I was disappointed with a magnetic hold - in the previous one I had, there were small magnets right bellow the leather surface and close to one another. In this one there was one strong magnet inside the flop and another AT THE BACK of the case completely behind the iPod. In other words, the magnetic hold had to go through your iPod to hold together. Because of this, the hold was very weak and, to be honest, I wouldn't want a strong magnet sending waves through a sensitive flash drive inside the iPod (they say magnets don't affect iPods but I didn't really want to find out the opposite the hard way).

The case was too tight and it took some effort to put the iPod in or take it out of the case (sure, it would stretch with time, but how long do I have to wait). The case came with a complementary screen protector - I guess that's one more positive thing I can mention so far; however, I haven't used the protector yet so I am not certain about its quality.

My wife and I are very pleased with the quality of this case. Both our ipods are well protected and the case looks much more expensive than it actually is. The leather is soft with padding in the back and cover, with only a slight leather smell...very pleasant. Ipod controls are all accessible in the snug fitting case and it fits perfectly into our isound twin charging station. All in all, a two thumbs up for this case.

Very good quality and well designed. Fits the Ipod touch 2nd and 3rd generation perfectly. The snapping belt loop on the back lays flat and doubles as a stand when it is unsnapped.

The case as described is of excellent quality. However, it does have a design flaw..I am using it with a 3rd generation I touch, its difficult to put in the head phone jack...since the opening left on the case for the jack is not aligned to the i touch jack, its a real hassle to move the leather material aside to put the jack in. It looks like that with the constant pressure being put on the material by the head phone jack will wear it out soon.

do not fit smug enough and case is a little wide for the case, hard time reaching some keys on the sides.

I simply wasted money on this item. It started falling apart after just 2 weeks. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

Received my Ipod Touch as a Christmas present several years ago, along with a leather case. Constant use wore the case seams and they began coming apart. I looked at a number of cases sold by Amazon, but chose this one because it included a screen protector. Couldn't be happier. The protective flap on the case keeps the Ipod safe but easily accessible, and the screen protector inside the case is perfect for extra security while allowing touchscreen functions per normal. Delivery was prompt and the price makes this Ipod case a true bargain.

This case is not exactly as the one pictured. The problem I have with it is that there is only one small piece on the bottom of the case to hold the iPod inside the case. The entire right bottom corner is open and the iPod easily sags out that corner. Don't care for the product but the dealer was great. He refunded me for a purchase I never received immediately.

I purchased this as a gift for my son. Having had one very similar to it for over a year (with constant use throughout the day), I see this lasting for a number of years. The only difference I can see between this case and mine is that this has a belt clip. I prefer no belt clip because I carry mine in my shirt pocket but that's just my preference. It is nicely padded and for the price will serve you well. There must have been an issue with the smell in the past but I gave it five stars because there was no offensive odor.

I could not be more pleased with this case. It's a perfect fit and looks very expensive. I would have paid 3-4 times as much for this case if I would have seen it in a store. You won't be disappointed.
