convenience
The charger bring much convenient to people who needs to fly frequently. I can charge and transfer data anywhere with my laptop. The shipping is fast too.

Premium Multi-Function Cradle for Blackberry Pearl 8100
The charging function does not work if your computer is off, even if a secondary power source is plugged in. Note that the secondary power source is required for 2nd battery charging (USB alone will not do it). Other than that, pretty simple. It offer a place to put your phone, a pig-tail pass thru for the USB cable and a 2nd battery chraging dock. Good value...

This is a generic charger cradle. The quality is not very good, the A/C adapter is generic. The seller should be more specific in describing that it's a generic charger. I would not recommend using it, I already ruined one Blackberry because I used a generic A/C adapter. For this expensive phones I would recommend original products. Be advised.
