Well, it comes with 2 batteries so if one doesn't work as it should, you always have a back-up. These batteries are 1200 mAh and the OEM Canon battery is 760 mAh, so these batteries should last the same amount of time, if not longer.

I haven't found anything wrong with these batteries yet, so no cons at the moment.

For around $5, I recommend that you buy and give these batteries a try before you go buying the expensive OEM Canon batteries.

This battery is an exact replacement for the camera. I noticed no difference in performance. Since Best Buy charges $25 plus each, I'd buy these at 2 for $10 anytime!

Although the battery is a lot cheaper than the Canon it seems to be similar in every respect. I'd definitely buy again.

Purchased 4 batteries. Numbered them so we could track fresh charge life. Got 3 pics and one went dead. Contacted to ask how they wanted to handle things before leaving a review. They have no care to communicate with you...only to sell you something that may or may not work. I would not buy from them as a suggestion and I will never buy from them ever again. As far as I'm concerned, they are scammers dealing garbage. This review could have been a bit more positive if only they would have answered my email with a suggestion to return, refund or ???

I use this battery pack interchangably with my cannon battery that came with the camera and can not recognize a difference in performance at this point. I can not yet comment on the long term life of the product, but for the price - it seems a non-issue.

It's great that this battery works. Battery life is about half of the battery my camera came with.

Very good products. They last almost as long as the one comes with the camera.

The purchased two pack, combined with the camera original allowed me to take full advantage of my camera on a two week vacation in the Rocky Mountains. Having the three batteries allowed me to rotate them and I always had fresh power to capture all the images, and video I wanted.

I purchased two of these batteries just before going on vacation and these lasted well over 140 - 160 pictures before showing the low battery sign. I shot pictures continuously for 5 days with both batteries in temperatures that ranged from the high 30's to the 70's and didn't see a problem with them not lasting. I was surprised as my video recorder lost a lot of battery time in the colder weather.

In my use, these last about as long as my original batteries when they were new and recharges in about the same amount of time. I'd buy these again as they were so much lower in price than the original Canon batteries.

This battery may even be slightly better than the original battery. With daily camera use, one of these just lasted me the better part of two months, until I finally ran it down over a day of pics and videos at the national aquarium. That was fine, of course, because I had two other spare batteries with me. This is truly a no-brainer purchase.
