This is, in fact, a decent 3" (diagonal) screen protector, 1-13/16" high by 2-7/16" wide, if that's what you need. Unfortunately, the current description on Amazon specifies that it is made for a Canon T1i. Well, if your Canon T1i is anything like mine, the screen that covers the rear LCD is 2" high by 2-5/8" wide, or about 3-1/4" diagonally. What you end up with on a T1i is almost 1/8" of unprotected rear glass all the way around the screen protector. I guess it'll do until I find one that fits right, but it is definitely not made for my camera.
By the way, I was unaware that the camera screen was larger than 3" because I ordered the camera and the screen protector at the same time. Since the description specifically states that it is made "for Canon Digital SLR EOS Rebel T1i", I feel like they should get it right. The mostly incorrect product description is why I'm giving this 1 star. Also, it is not Ikross brand as stated in the description. I received GTMax brand. The order was fulfilled by Bargaincell. |
