When I orginally started looking for cases for my Kindle, I wanted to find something that was cheaper but still looked good. I came upon this item liking the design. When I received the product in the mail, I was disappointed to find that the case does not have the design as featured and it does not have the extra piece of slicone for between the screen and keyboard. I purposefully ordered this case for those reasons. It does still fit and handle fine, but I think the company needs to truthfully advertise the product.

The Good: Its cheap. It stays on. It adds some protection to Kindle case.
The Bad: Its a dust/hair magnet. Think black slack after putting a linty napkin on your lap. Or having a dog rub against you. It's very unattractive to have the fuzz/hair/dust all over it.

This kindle cover is well made and has a tight fit on the kindle. The only problem I have with it is the massive amount of lint and dust that clings to it. The cover is very thin, which isn't a major problem if you are just looking for a style change to your kindle and no protection. But the lint problem is very distracting.

I agree with the other reviews on this product--this silicon skin has a matte rubbery non-slip feel which I prefer, the buttons are labeled in tiny raised print for ease of use, and a band exists between keyboard and screen to protect the surface beneath, with the 5-way button, speakers, and ports left exposed. My only complaint about this skin is that it is a bit loose. On all edges closest to the screen, the skin lifts slightly off of the surface, and cannot be smoothed down. Some recommend putting double-sided tape beneath the skin so that it rests truly flush with the device, and keeps the skin from slipping askew from the device. I personally don't wish to mark my Kindle with adhesive.

The silicon skin is very thin, and thus it will not prevent shock-related damage from being dropped. It is merely to keep the device in somewhat pristine condition. The quality of this product is indicative of its price. Had I understood better exactly how this skin fits over my device, I would have chosen a slightly more expensive silicon cover that would fit much more securely and more flush with my device. It is certainly usable despite that, though.

It was hard to tell by picture and measurements given if this would fit, but it did not fit my original Kindle. It is just about a half inch to big. it is too loose. Otherwise would have been nice. too bad the kindles are not all same size. Very difficult to find an affordable cover that fits...

I was looking for something that would cover a white kindle2 and make it comfortable to hold. The Silcone skin is just the item I needed. Great Thanks Amazon...

Did not fit at all. Was to big and holes didn't line up. Waste of money and time. Dont buy it.

The cover works well to give protection for Kindle 2... fits the unit perfectly... RKW

This protects the kindle well. Yet it still requires a screen cover. So purchase some as well.

I LIKE THE FEEL OF THE SILICONE BECAUSE BEFORE MY KINDLE 2 WOULD SIDE OUT OF MY HANDS IT'S A GREAT BUY
