This workbook is great if you want the student to have a clear understanding of the problem solving process. In Section 1, the student covers vocabulary, examples and a quick check for each lesson. The added value is in Section 2, where the student is presented with a practice page per lesson and a guided problem solving strategy (understand, plan and carry on, check, reading comprehension, graphic organizer, among other things).
With this workbook not only will the student practice math but he/she will also understand why it is solved that way. |
